    Good Luck Charm

We love Good Luck Charm. A lovely home, it’s equipped with everything you need for a comfortable, hassle-free stay – we especially liked the sociable and practical kitchen. The beds are high-quality, which equals even sweeter dreams. This part of Frederiksberg is on the quieter side and you’re really close to Forum station too, so you can be in central Copenhagen in no time. The lakes are also close by, the perfect spot to go for a walk, a jog, or grab a cup of coffee in one of the charming cafes. *When we visited, the wifi was a bit slow.*Be prepared for some up and down – it’s on the first floor with no lift.*The kitchen lacks basic essentials, such as coffee capsules for the Nespresso machine, so you might want to bring your own. You may want to ask your host about the specific size. Family Album

While the immediate area isn’t typical of Copenhagen (it’s very modern), you’re only a fifteen-minute walk from The Little Mermaid. The waterfront is also just around the corner. High-ceilinged and minimalist with warm undertones, it’s great for families. Although it could do with some wall art here and there, we love that this place makes you feel at home instantly. *It’s a ground floor home with huge windows (there are curtains though) – this might be an issue for some*The walls are a bit bare*The immediate area isn't very lively when it comes to restaurants, bars and coffee shops*When we visited, the curtain in the master bedroom was broken – the host is aware of this*The terrace isn’t cosy or private – it’s also not the most well-maintained*The wifi is a bit slow*The walls could do with a lick of paint to cover up scuff marks*The bed in the master bedroom is on the narrow side BarbequeBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingDishw...More Details

    Lake Haven

Situated just one street from The Lakes, this penthouse apartment is perfectly positioned for waterfront strolls, coffees and drinks. This modern Scandi-style apartment is ideal for groups wanting to maximise their time both out and in, with a central location and a contemporary sociable space. If you’re visiting as a group of eight, two guests will sleep on the living area sofa bed, so you might need to call it early some nights. But then again, with plenty of bars and concert venues nearby, we’re sure you'll spend your evenings out experiencing the Copenhagen culture. *At full occupancy, two people will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the living area. The king-size beds can be reconfigured into two singles upon request. And we think the third bedroom is best suited to children.*The dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace.*Your host can provide a high chair upon request.*We suggest exploring the city on foot, by bike or by...More Details

    The Magic Flute

The Magic Flute is rich in history. Located just off lively Nyhavn, the building dates all the way back to 1658 (there’s a plaque at the entrance detailing all the owners throughout the years). With crooked, creaky floors, it’s oozing old charm – and paired with Matilde’s artwork, instruments, and personality, it becomes one of a kind. She’s an opera singer and works just down the road in the Royal Opera House, which only makes this home even more special. *It’s a lived-in home – expect to share the space with the host’s belongings*There’s only one bathroom for five guests*While it sleeps five people, one of them would have to be on a sofa bed in the living room*The wifi is a bit slow*Bedroom two and three are set up for children – with top bunks and lots of toys Central HeatingChild FriendlyCoffee MakerCooking EssentialsDishwasherFreezerFridgeGardenHair DryerHangersIronIroning BoardKitchenKitchen UtensilsLaptop Friendly WorkspaceLibr...More Details

    Magical Impressionism

Magical Impressionism reinterprets old Copenhagen in a modern version. Slightly uneven floors and crooked ceilings, it’s the kind of place that makes us feel welcome and piques our curiosity at the same time. While the home doesn’t offer much in terms of entertainment, Copenhagen’s lively Indre By is right on your doorstep – within minutes you could be shopping on Strøget, watching a play at the Royal Theatre or perusing Nyhavn. *Guest 3 would be on a sofa bed in the small room adjacent to the master bedroom – this also doubles as the laundry room*Guests 4 and 5 would be on a sofa bed in the smaller living room*This is an old home, typical of this part of Copenhagen – expect some uneven floors*The windows are not soundproof – there's likely to be some noise in the evening due to the central location*This home is on the second floor with no lift – be prepared for some stairs*The bathroom is a little tired-looking – it could do with an u...More Details

    City Haven

Bright and modern, this smart pad is an excellent fit for those in search of a well-connected base to return to after days spent working or sightseeing across the city. From here, you'll find many of Copenhagen's popular spots within easy walking distance, including Tivoli Gardens, Ørstedsparken and the inner city lakes. At home, there's plenty of space for you to unwind and dine with friends – though keep in mind that the kitchenette is only suitable for preparing light bites. It's also worth noting that at full capacity, two people will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the open living area. *Your host operates several apartments here, so the exact view, layout and furnishings might differ slightly from the photos. Old Town Retreat

In the heart of Copenhagen, this central pad is a great base for those exploring the city. The popular Strøget shopping district is on your doorstep, with restaurants, bars and boutiques within easy reach. And for sightseeing ventures across town, the Rådhuspladsen Metro stop is a five-minute walk away. Back home, the design is contemporary rather than charming, while the quiet courtyard is a nice bonus. The sofa bed adds flexibility for larger groups and the dining table doubles up as a handy workspace, but do keep in mind that some street noise should be expected here. *You'll be able to check yourself in here. *At full occupancy, two guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area. *This is a single-level home on the ground floor. *If you're travelling for work, you won't find a dedicated desk here. Beach Trail Retreat

With its enviable location on the beach trail to Amager Strandpark, you can breathe in the sea air in no time here. You’ll also find the Øresund metro station is five minutes away, allowing easy access to the city centre or airport in three stops. Of course, with such convenience, there’s the potential for some street noise – particularly given there’s a popular cafe on your doorstep. That said, given the apartment has a basic kitchenette, this will prove handy. An ideal base for four people, just be prepared for two guests to sleep on the sofa bed. *Your host operates several apartments here, so the exact view, layout and furnishings might differ slightly from the photos. Twentieth Century

Twentieth Century oozes old-time grandeur with a modern twist. It feels extremely personal as it’s brimming with trinkets – we especially love all the items that the host collected when she lived in Japan. Awe-inspiring and monumental in every way, it is also a loved family home. Located in the upmarket part of Frederiksberg, it’s the kind of home that invites you to spend time with your loved ones – whether that means slowing down in the garden, cooking a feast in the kitchen, or relaxing in front of the fireplace, we will leave up to you. *There’s only one shower to share between all guests*This is a lived-in home – expect to share the space with some personal belongings (photos, toiletries, clothes)*There’s a pull-out bed in bedroom two and three – it can be made into a double bed if need be*Bedroom four also doubles as the office – and it comes with a Murphy bed*There are two beds in both bedroom two and three – great for children,...More Details

    Cowboy Poetry

Parts of Cowboy Poetry feel like a British pub (complete with a cool Italian globe bar and leather armchairs), while other parts carry unique references to the 1850s building that the home is located in. Both Masculine and Scandinavian, Cowboy Poetry has a lot to offer, especially in terms of its appealing location in posh Frederiksberg. Even though the home doesn’t have a coherent design aesthetic, it’s clear to see that it’s a treasured home with plenty of character. * Even though this home has a tumble-dryer, it’s currently not working* When we visited, the wi-fi wasn’t as fast as we would like it to be* You can only access the bed via one side* This is a lived-in home, so be prepared to share the space with some of the owner’s belongings* The walls could do with a lick of paint* The bedroom is on the smaller side* Response time from the host can sometimes be a bit longer due to him travelling when he’s renting out his home * There’...More Details

Set in a renovated home that dates back to 1880 and opens up to a beautiful garden, Lykke (meaning happiness in Danish) is all we want from a Copenhagen home. Bright and luminous, it sets the scene for a wonderful holiday with the family. The immediate neighbourhood has a distinct character (it’s on the quiet side), but it’s filled with beautiful buildings and swanky villas. We love the delicate combination of colours, Danish design icons (Arne Jacobsen, Verner Panton), and the eye-catching posters from the host’s own company. *To get to the master bedroom, you have to walk through the study*Frederiksberg is great for families, not so great if you’re looking to be close to all of the hustle and bustle*The master bedroom is on the small side*This home is split across two levels – be prepared for some up and down*This is a lived-in home, expect to share the space with some of the hosts’ belongings like toys, toiletries and clothes*Both b...More Details

    View From the Afternoon

Do Copenhagen right and stay at this swoon-worthy Scandi apartment in the city centre. With light-filled rooms, an unbeatable location and the rare luxury of a private terrace, it doesn't get better than this modern home. The open-plan living area is the ideal hangout spot for your holiday downtown. Finished with bright furnishings and a touch of boho charm, the spacious room is lit up with not one, not two, but six windows. After preparing meals in the snazzy kitchen, you have a choice of places to dine – at the breakfast bar, the eight-person dining table, or outside in the sun (that's our pick, weather permitting). When it's time to explore the city, you won't have to travel far to take in Copenhagen's best sites. The cobbled Kongens Nytorv square is barely a five-minute walk away, and from here Nyhavn's colourful waterfront is another short hop. Enjoy lunch with a waterfront view, then meander through the characterful streets toward...More Details

    Cloud Underground

If you end up staying in Cloud Underground, you’ll be getting some very fancy neighbours. Amalienborg Palace (the Danish queen’s home) is just down the road – and it’s actually also located along the Crown Prince’s preferred biking route, so don’t be scared if he whizzes past you. With its Scandinavian-meets-industrial vibe, it’s the kind of place you look forward to coming home to at the end of a long day of sightseeing. Oh, and did we forget to mention that it’s within walking distance to everyone’s favourite statue, The Little Mermaid? *This home sleeps five people, but one of them would ideally be a child (there’s a single bed in the master bedroom)*The kitchen is on the smaller side – ideal for preparing light meals/snacks, not ideal for cooking feasts*The French doors look beautiful and bring in a lot of light, but they don’t provide a lot of privacy in the bedrooms*There’s carpet in the kitchen, which isn’t practical – and it mi...More Details

    Waterside Story

Ideal for a group of friends or family visiting the Danish capital, Waterside Story is a modern home in Sydhavnen with gorgeous views of the new developments in the area. It could do with a splash of colour, but we also appreciate its modern and minimalist aesthetic. You’ll have to hop on a train to reach central Copenhagen, but if you’re a real sea lover, you’ll feel right at home by the canals. * Tall people be aware – the shower is only 185 cm tall* There’s only one bathroom for six guests* The host won’t be there to meet you, you’ll have to pick up the keys from their office – it’s about thirty minutes away by public transport* The immediate area isn’t the liveliest neighbourhood in Copenhagen – but you’re close to Copenhagen’s harbour* There’s currently no home manual – you’ll have to ask for help on how to use the appliances* We also noticed some scuff marks on the walls* Guests 5 and 6 would be on a bed in the living room – only...More Details

    Beech - Ash

This home has gone all-in on the bold and clean design aesthetic. While it might feel a bit sparse to those who prefer personal touches, the Danes don't mess about when it comes to clean lines and functionality. The bedrooms have a bright and open feel, with the master enjoying direct access to a shared outdoor space, while the second bedroom boasts some ornate wood panelling as a nod to the age of the building. It's seriously central, making it an excellent base for exploring the city on foot. With a view of Strøget (Copenhagen's main pedestrianised shopping area), you couldn't be better placed to spend some of those krone burning a hole in your pocket in all the uber-chic boutiques. Sample some of Copenhagen's history by visiting the Rundetaarn – the oldest functioning observatory in Europe is a five-minute walk – while Nyhavn's many waterside eateries are ten minutes away. * Two of the guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the co...More Details

    Cityscape Sanctuary

If you’re searching for classic Scandinavian design in a fantastic location, this apartment delivers. Located on the third floor of a historic building without a lift, there is plenty of space for a group of nine to relax after a day of exploring. It’s worth noting there is only one bathroom here, but it's ideal for remote workers with dedicated desk space and families will appreciate the children’s amenities available for an additional fee. From here, it’s just a short stroll to the bars and restaurants of Nyhavn, while shops and historic sights are also within walking distance. *This home can accommodate seven extra guests with prior approval from the host. *Please note this apartment is located on the third floor with no lift access. *Given the home's central spot, it is possible you may hear some street noise throughout your stay. A Noble Touch

We're not going to lie – this top floor apartment is a bit of a climb. But once you reach the top, we promise the views of Round Tower and Trinitatis Church are totally worth the effort. With sloped ceilings, exposed wooden beams and original doors, the character of the building isn't lost, and the clean, minimal Nordic design only enhances the charm. We loved relaxing under the eaves, kicking back on the sofa for a Netflix night and rustling up nibbles in the sleek kitchen. Even better is the hotel-quality service, allowing you to have the best of both worlds. The virtual 24/7 concierge can answer any questions, while your hosts are more than happy to arrange reservations at some of Copenhagen's best eateries as well as bike rentals if you want to cycle. And the location? Terrific. It's in the centre of Copenhagen, right down the street from Rosenborg Castle and Kongens Have gardens. Bumblebee - Sapphire

With its yellow and blue theme, Bumblebee \u0026 Sapphire definitely has a lively side. Yes, it’s small, but the space is used in a nice way that makes it seem a lot bigger than it actually is. The Vissevasse posters and decorative HAY pillows add a playful touch to the home, which we really enjoy. The Little Mermaid's Song

Located in the area that Hans Christian Andersen famously called “the Belly of Copenhagen” this apartment boasts not only a fantastic central location but also two balcony spaces for cityscape views. We would love nothing more than to start our mornings here with something freshly baked from a nearby bakery – which can be reached in as little as three minutes, and to enjoy our breakfast with the balcony doors open and a light breeze dancing into this home. Catch up with any work emails at the dedicated workspace or use the desk to plan the day ahead. Explore the fairy tale city that inspired Han Christian Andersen and visit the Little Mermaid statue, which is just a nineteen-minute walk away.Wander nine minutes from your door and you will reach Nyhavn harbour where you can admire the colourful seventeenth-century buildings, sip a cool beer as you watch the docked boats bob on the waters, dine in a restaurant as you listen to a local jaz...More Details

    Sage Advice

A whirlwind of green hues, this snug home brings an instant smile to our faces. It's warm and comfortable, with a large dining table perfect for sharing family meals and a cosy sitting area where you can kick back and relax with a glass of wine and Netflix. A small collection of books and board games only add to the homey feel, as do the large windows which flood the lounge with natural light. One of the bedrooms is rather tiny and the bathroom isn't the biggest we've seen, but the brilliant location more than makes up for it. We love this area's historic charm and quiet streets, yet buzzing restaurants, cafes and shops are all a short stroll away. You're also within walking distance to many of Copenhagen's most beloved sights – Amalienborg Palace, Nyhavn, The Little Mermaid, Frederik's Church, you name it, chances are you can get to it easily. Best of all? The Danish queen lives just down the road, so if it's good enough for royalty, i...More Details

    The Green Market

Don’t let the graffiti on the front door scare you off, The Green Market is a little haven in young and trendy Nørrebro. Located on the fifth floor, it’s got a loft-like atmosphere with plenty of green plants, vintage furniture and fun artworks. We also love the exposed wooden beams that add a charming touch to this little home. Since it is a studio apartment, it’s especially great for young couples or travellers looking to be in the epicentre of all things cool. It could feel a little cramped – but for what it lacks in size, it makes up for with its charismatic atmosphere. * This home is located on the fifth floor with no elevator – be prepared to climb 99 stairs to reach the apartment* The balcony overlooks busy Jagtvej – it could get noisy when there’s a lot of traffic* It is a studio apartment – don’t expect lots and lots of privacy* There’s currently no in-person check-in* The kitchen is right next to the bed (as seen in the photo...More Details

    City Explorer

Situated in the heart of Copenhagen, this apartment provides a perfectly practical space for groups visiting the city. Tivoli Gardens is less than a ten-minute walk away, while nearby Ørstedsparken is a great spot for escaping the city buzz. The master bedroom can be set up with twin single beds upon request and the double sofa bed adds flexibility. Just keep in mind that the second bedroom is partly open to the living area, so it lacks some privacy. Otherwise, the two large bathrooms will help to speed mornings along, so you can head out and spend more time exploring all that the Danish capital has to offer. *Your host operates several apartments here, so the exact view, layout and furnishings might differ slightly from the photos. However, the overall quality should remain the same. *You'll be able to check yourself in here.*At full occupancy, two people will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the living area. *The second bedroom is open t...More Details

    Colour Coordinate

Located in a 2008 building designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects, Colour Coordinate is one of a kind. It’s right by the harbour, so expect gorgeous views of the water at any time of the day. The hosts are really into organic living (all linen and toiletries are organic), as well as creating a space to brings you closer to nature. We can’t get enough of the bold colour scheme and the extraordinary plant collection, but our absolute favourite thing about this home is the easy access to Fisketorvet’s Harbour Bath where you can go for a quick dip every morning before breakfast. *Special mention to TV lovers – there’s no television in this home BalconyBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingDishwasherHair DryerIronIroning BoardKitchenLibrary of BooksLift AccessLuxury BeddingLuxury ToiletriesMultiple Sets of KeysUnderfloor HeatingWashing MachineWelcome HamperWi-fi...More Details

    Misty Mountains

This home is definitely not going to win any prizes for character (the design is on the generic side of things), but it's modern, clean, and quietly stylish. It also represents great value for a group of friends who aren't fussed about not being right in the centre of town. The harbour-side location is lovely, and there's a little outdoor space too. * There's only one bathroom and you need to go through the kitchen to reach it from the bedrooms* The bathroom is not the most luxurious we've ever seen* Both bedrooms are set up with twin beds - not the ideal home for a romantic break!* It's on the ground floor which compromises privacy a bit (especially in the outdoor space) and means that there isn't a huge amount of natural light in the kitchen/dining area* It's a newly created neighbourhood so if you want the romance of old Copenhagen then you might want to look elsewhere BalconyBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingCooking Essenti...More Details

    Marguerite

Locations really don’t get much better than this. It's rare to find a property this close by to the picture-perfect Nyhavn district, with its brightly coloured gabled townhouses. Find a sunny spot outside at a quayside café or hop on a boat for one of the many canal tours that start here. As the evening draws in, take a pre-dinner stroll along the waterfront, then duck into one of the many restaurants and bars that line the canal. You could call in on the Queen too, she lives just around the corner. And when it’s finally time to retreat inside, you’ll find a contemporary place that invites you to be social. The communal area is the heart of the home, offering plenty of space for your tribe to hang out, cook, and eat. The industrial-style windows flood natural light through the apartment by day, while the plush velvet curtains allow privacy at night when it’s time for some shut-eye. * Your keys will be left in a lockbox, so there's no ...More Details

    The Light of Home

This home has gone all-in on the bold and clean design aesthetic, with large windows letting in plenty of light, creating a refreshing atmosphere. We adore the black matte kitchen – ready for you to cook up a storm to enjoy on the velvet tan seats while overlooking the charming city. Recognised as the happiest city in the world – that had to be telling you something, and even better, you get to experience it.Tivoli Gardens, a thirteen-minute walk away, has 19th-century depictions of the Orient and provides a magnificent spectacle with thousands of colourful lights in the evening for you to enjoy. There is no city in the world that loves cycling more than Copenhagen, so rent a bike and go riding, heading to Nyhavn, a place you won't forget, with its brightly coloured gabled townhomes, salty boats, and frothy beer to savour while taking in the view. For some high culture, spend the evening at a jazz club or the Royal Danish Theater. *At ...More Details
