Meridian has a magical feeling about it. It’s kept in perfect condition, and while it’s solely a holiday apartment – no one lives there full-time – within ten minutes of unpacking your suitcase, it feels like a home. It’s not stuffed with objects, but the vaguely minimalist style never comes across as harsh or cold. The flat is peaceful, but in a great location next both Sempione park and Cadorna station, and while the front door can be a little hard to find, it’s worth the hunt. *There's a lift to reach the apartment, but it's very small*It's not the easiest entrance to find, but don't give up Air ConditioningBaby BathBathtubBlack-Out BlindsBoard GamesBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCarbon Monoxide DetectorCentral HeatingChild FriendlyCoffee MakerCooking EssentialsCot / CribDishwasherDryerElectricity AdaptorsExtra Pillows and BlanketsFanFire ExtinguisherFirst Aid KitFree Parking On StreetFreezerFridgeGardenHair DryerHangersHigh ChairIronKi...More Details
The concept of being small but mighty is a horrible cliche and one that we won’t use to describe Lovage. However, we must admit that we didn’t expect a place as small as this to be quite so charming. You can’t get away without mentioning the view. Unremarkable in one direction, but turn the other way and the Torre Velasca looms up. And inside, despite the diminutive footprint, it doesn’t feel too cramped, and the kitchen is far more than an afterthought. *This is a studio – it's pretty small*The street outside is always busy so there's a fair amount of street noise Air ConditioningBalconyBlack-Out BlindsBuzzer / Wireless IntercomDishwasherElectricity AdaptorsHair DryerIronIroning BoardKitchenLift AccessMicrowaveMultiple Sets of KeysRain ShowerThrowsTVWashing MachineWi-fi...More Details

Greenwood is a comfortable place, with lots of space and natural light, but its main selling point is definitely the location. It’s around the corner from the Duomo – it’s less than a five-minute walk away – and on a main road, so there are lots of transport links. The interior’s not the point of the apartment, but that isn’t to say that it’s been overlooked. The tiled bathrooms, in particular, are striking, and we also really liked the big houseplant in the corner. *The flat is newly renovated, so when we visited the wi-fi hadn't yet been installed*There's no entertainment provided beyond the TVs*The palazzo isn't especially beautiful or historic Air ConditioningBuzzer / Wireless IntercomDishwasherHair DryerIronKitchenLift AccessMicrowaveNetflixRain ShowerTVWashing Machine...More Details
Warmth emanates from the furniture of Ephemeris, not so much due to luxury as to personality. There are little trinkets around the place, some coming from the family, others from markets. Most of this stuff is unique, and it’s been put together in a very careful, considered manner. The only real issue with Ephemeris is its lack of air conditioning. It’s designed to stay cool, and the structure of the building makes it very difficult to install, but it’s worth knowing about beforehand. *The kitchen is very small and doesn't really have a worktop*Because of the structure of the building, there's no air conditioning*The third guest will be on a sofa bed in the living room*The balcony is a Juliet balcony, so there's no space to sit BalconyBathrobesBreakfast IncludedBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCafetiereCentral HeatingCoffee MakerCooking EssentialsElectricity AdaptorsEspresso MachineExtra Pillows and BlanketsFanFirst Aid KitFree Parking On St...More Details

On the edge of Brera and Garibaldi, Artemis is wonderfully placed for both the nightlife that fills the area, and for getting to other parts of the city. The flat has a sense of individuality to it – the design is sophisticated, with lots of beautiful objects that elevate it beyond what you might reasonably expect from a place of its size. It’s all fairly valuable, so for that reason the host, Rita, would prefer to rent to adults, or at least not young children. *Given the value of some of the things in the apartment, Rita would prefer not to have guests under twelve*There's a hoover available on request*Unfortunately, there's no dishwasher*The fridge is stocked with beverages ahead of your stay*The bathroom is stocked with Aesop and Kiehl's products*The longest stay available at the moment is one month*There's only one set of keys for this home*Luggage storage is free of charge where available – please enquire with your host in advanc...More Details
Everything about this home is geared towards lovers of minimalism. Your hosts employed an architect to ensure that nothing is present that needn't be, removing the distraction that excess creates to leave a clean and uncluttered space that's perfect for disconnecting and switching off. Any omissions in terms of amenities aren't oversights from the hosts. Instead, they’re considered decisions taken in partnership to maintain an aesthetic while creating a comfortable space that works for you – the guest. The hardwood floors, comfy sofa and blonde wood give the apartment a Scandinavian feel. Climbing the ladder up to the mezzanine floor adds a touch of adventure to bedtime that makes you feel like you could be in a cabin in the woods and not central Milan. Given the burgeoning bohemian scene in this part of Milan, that feeling couldn't be more appropriate. Just north of the city centre, Isola marches to the beat of its own drum. Recently renovated and perfectly situated close to the city centre, this smart home is a great option for a small group of friends or a family. A perfect base for exploring Milan, here you'll be within easy walking distance of all the big attractions, with bars, shops and restaurants right on your doorstep.Inside, we love the sleek, minimalist look – pepped up here and there by a colourful statement sofa, a bright rug and the stylish monochrome tiles in the shower. It's simple and understated, but it just works. It's a particularly bright flat, with big windows and modern neutral tones. There’s also a narrow balcony, and while there isn’t space to sit outside, it’s nice to be able to get a breath of fresh air every now and then. The Basilica of San Lorenzo and its famous columns are a few minutes away on foot, while it’s about a ten-minute walk to the Duomo. *If there are six people staying, two will have to be on a sofa bed and everyon...More Details
Nocellara is on the eighth floor, so as you might imagine, the terrace has quite the view across the city. The big French windows also let lots of light in, and it’s too high for shadows from other buildings to interfere. The scarce decoration does hold the place back a bit – there are definitely more eye-catching places to stay – but for longer stays, Nocellara is excellent value and has everything you need to be comfortable. *There's no air conditioning in the bedroom*We weren't able to test the wi-fi speed when we visited, though there is a connection*There's nothing in the way of ingredients provided, not even oil or salt*The ceiling in the bedroom is sloped, which makes it hard to get round one side of the bed*In general, there could be more effort put into decorating the flat – it's quite bare Air ConditioningBalconyBathtubBlack-Out BlindsBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingChild FriendlyCoffee MakerCooking EssentialsDishwa...More Details
While the design of Orpington won’t make your heart flutter, there are other reasons it makes a good spot to stay. It’s a decent size, and the balcony is great for fresh air, even if it isn’t decked out with furniture. Above all though, Orpington is very good value for money, and you’ll struggle to find anything comparable in that budget so close to both CityLife and Sempione Park. *Even though there's a lift to reach the third floor, you'll still have to climb a short flight of stairs*The lamp in the living room is the only source of artificial light in there, and it's also hanging quite low, so watch your head when you stand up*There are no basic ingredients provided, and the kitchen lacks a kettle, toaster and coffee machine*The dishwasher door can come up against a cabinet door which can make opening it a little fiddly Air ConditioningBalconyBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingCoffee MakerCooking EssentialsDishwasherElectrici...More Details

This bijou apartment feels very hi-tech. All the electrics are controlled through a single system, with a few highlights like the sensor-controlled lights and superfast Wifi – all of this in a pretty building from the 1920s. Patches of exposed brickwork inside lend an industrial-chic feel and the wooden ceiling is a nod to the past. Furnishings are understated and neutral-toned, allowing a mellow feel. You've got plenty of space in the bedroom, especially when you open up the door to the little balcony. You're in central Milan here, a twenty-minute walk from the central station (and central market just outside it). It's also a twenty-five-minute walk to the historic sights of the Duomo and Teatro alla Scala. Or, you could hop on the metro at Porta Venezia just outside your door. *At capacity (four guests) two people will be on the sofa bed in the living room*There is a balcony but it is small and unfurnished*Smoking is only allowed on t...More Details
