A bohemian atmosphere meets Japanese zen in this striking home. We particularly love all the original features including the wooden beams, exposed brick walls (and even the creaky floors), which mix beautifully with the hosts’ collection of books and vintage furniture. Since the apartment was renovated in 2013, it has been featured in several lifestyle magazines for its charming design aesthetic. Spread across three floors, unique quirks include the rather rustic ladders that take you up to the second and third floors. Curl up in a cosy corner with a book in hand and live the scene of what seems like it could be a fictional dream. Alongside world literature, the host also supplies guests with access to gym equipment, should you wish to keep up with your fitness routine while visiting Copenhagen. Around the apartment, the immediate area feels very local – the Christianshavn canals are just two minutes away, and so are plenty of restauran...More Details

The island of Fyn’s central location means you can reach Jutland and Sealand with ease. But with the city of Odense just a twenty-five-minute drive from this home, the coastal town of Hasmark and this charming house might be enough to make you stay put. A peaceful atmosphere, pristine beaches, and local historical intrigue are among some of the delights. As you arrive at this fantastic residence, you can see the stylish choice of architecture and design from the offset. Charcoal-coloured bricks and huge glass panels merge tradition with modernity in a classic apex roofed, bungalow shape. We love the vast wooden decking out front, where a lush green garden extends way beyond – perfect for barbecues or smørrebrød picnics on balmy afternoons. But there are also some excellent spots for chilly evenings. The outdoor hot tub will be your first port of call, followed by the lofty dining and living space where a wood-burning stove stands proudly...More Details
Right on the water at Øster Hurup Havn, this stylish home is purpose-built for relaxing stays on the beach. With a couple of restaurants on its doorstep, along with a stunning beach and the yachts in the marina, it's a haven for lovers of the coast. It's built in a traditional fisherman's hut style, cutting an angular, black figure against the shore, and we absolutely love the view from its private terrace.Inside, big windows make the most of the scenery and there's a modern log burner for cosy nights in front of the fire. Contemporary styling with monotone shades is pepped up with bright pieces of modern art, and it's well kitted-out for families, with a board game collection and four comfy bedrooms. And for a treat, there's a whirlpool bath and a private sauna tucked away in the bathrooms. *The TV channels are limited to Danish and German*You'll need a car – this home comes with private parking*There's laptop-friendly workspace at th...More Details
