55 km east of Joensuu, Lake Saarijärvi 40 m (17,87 ha). The bottom of the lake deepens gently, the beach is partly sanded, otherwise the bottom is muddy. Own shore, boat and jetty. Log cottage built in 1992 with 2004 built extension. Living room with convertible sofa, kitchen, small bedroom with a bunk, 2 alcoves with folding doors, there is a double bed in the other and one bed in the other. Electric sauna, bathroom, terrace. Separate wood-heated lakeside sauna, where is a room with a fireplace. A cosy log cottage in a peaceful area in Marjovaara, Ilomantsi. There is a railway about 150 metres away but there run only 1-2 freight trains in a day. The closest house is within 150 metres but it is abandoned house. The extension of the cottage was built in 2004 and it contains a large living room and 2 alcoves. The reservations start at 16.00 and end at 12.00 (also in weekend bookings).
