On the island of Fyn, you’ll love the bustling marina of the 12th-century town of Bogense. While this vibrant settlement offers gorgeous sights like Saint Nicholas Church and a slice of peaceful life, you might desire even more rural surroundings. An eleven-minute drive away, this home doesn’t give any sort of urban pretenses.Towering trees and leafy bushes surround the house, which looks traditional despite being built in 2017. It’s a spot for a truly rustic life, including a fish cleaning table for keen hunter-gatherers, as well as a log-burning stove and fire pit outside. But that said, it doesn’t come without some unexpected modern luxuries.Out on the decking, after a meal of wholesome fresh fish and rye bread, pamper yourself in the hot tub under the stars. Pour yourself some bubbles with nothing but the sounds of the forest around you. Inside, find yet more 21st-century facilities such as solar panels and geothermal heating (you’v...More Details

Slightly raised above Copenhagen’s busiest shopping street, Strøget, Pantomime is right in the action. We love the cosy window seat that allows you to enjoy all the hustle and bustle from a quiet afar. It might not be luxurious, but it has some cool features like the industrial-style wall divider, marble-clad bathroom and the retro Vissevasse posters. Due to its size and sleeping arrangements, this home is well-suited for a small family or group of friends that enjoy each other's company. * The design is on the simple side – it feels a little like a hotel and it's not luxurious* This home is right next to Strøget – you might be able to hear some noise coming from the street below now and then* Guest 3 and 4 would be on a sofa bed in the living room* There’s currently no home manual – you’ll have to ask for help on how to use the appliances* When we visited, we noticed some scuff marks on the walls here and there* There are some fake pl...More Details

A bohemian atmosphere meets Japanese zen in this striking home. We particularly love all the original features including the wooden beams, exposed brick walls (and even the creaky floors), which mix beautifully with the hosts’ collection of books and vintage furniture. Since the apartment was renovated in 2013, it has been featured in several lifestyle magazines for its charming design aesthetic. Spread across three floors, unique quirks include the rather rustic ladders that take you up to the second and third floors. Curl up in a cosy corner with a book in hand and live the scene of what seems like it could be a fictional dream. Alongside world literature, the host also supplies guests with access to gym equipment, should you wish to keep up with your fitness routine while visiting Copenhagen. Around the apartment, the immediate area feels very local – the Christianshavn canals are just two minutes away, and so are plenty of restauran...More Details
