    Sculpture Culture

An elegant home in a friendly neighbourhood, this place mixes Italian palazzo style interiors with typical Berlin cool. Masterfully designed by the owners, some of its unique features include a photo wall by a Chicago artist who stayed in the apartment and classical sculptures – most of which the host bought from Italian film director, Franco Zeffirelli. In an attractive Jugendstil building in trendy Prenzlauer Berg, there's fabulous architecture, art and culture all around. Inside, period features and quirky artistic touches make for a real experience, above and beyond your usual rentals. Cook your meals in the smart, modern kitchen and eat either in the charming little dining nook or out on the home's balcony. But it's not a problem if you don't feel like eating at home, with literally hundreds of restaurants within easy walking distance. In a quiet spot, but close to public transport, it's a breeze to explore the city from this littl...More Details

    The Greenery

Found right by the Spree, The Greenery is in an excellent location. You’re within walking distance to many of Berlin’s cultural offerings (Museum Island is only twenty minutes away), along with lots of famous night clubs (if that’s your thing). The living room feels incredibly lively – we loved the abundance of tropical green plants and host Paul’s attention to detail. And the kitchen is wonderful too – we can only imagine the kind of delicious meals that you’ll want to cook while staying in this home. *There was no home manual when we visited*Guest three would be on a sofa bed in the living room*We found that the curtains in the bedroom don't do a great job of blocking out the daylight Amazon PrimeBalconyBathtubBicyclesBoard GamesBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCafetiereCentral HeatingDishwasherDryerDVD LibraryElectricity AdaptorsFanFree Parking On StreetFreezerFridgeHair DryerHangersHerb GardenIronIroning BoardKitchenKitchen UtensilsLapto...More Details

    Work It Out

We're loving the bohemian-chic approach to this urban pad, placed in Berlin's traffic-calmed Friedrichshain neighbourhood – where indie boutiques and casual cafes create an alternative, artsy vibe. There are three stylish bedrooms with dedicated office spaces in each one, making the home ideal for business trips and friendly get-togethers with one eye on work. Stylish decorative details are everywhere to be seen, with intentional yet minimalist decor creating a relaxed atmosphere. Gather the group together for some German apple pancakes in the sleek communal area as you hatch out the day's plan. With so much to see and do, make sure you factor in less work and a lot more play to your stay here. We recommend starting with a half-hour walk through the surrounding area to the historic East Side Gallery, before hopping on the metro to sprawling Kreuzberg – beloved by students and locals alike for its quirky thrift shops, cafe culture and la...More Details

    Sugar - Myrtle

Surrounded by lush greenery, this holiday apartment is the ideal getaway on Northern Germany's coast. You'll instantly feel at ease with the home's muted, neutral palette and modern furnishings. It is contemporary and stylish, but the large plush L-shaped sofa and homely decor make it homely and inviting. You'll love waking up in your luxurious bed and opening the patio doors to invite in the crisp countryside fresh air and cascading sunlight. Enjoy your morning coffees out on the patio, but we imagine an afternoon glass of wine will go down even better out here. You're just a fifteen-minute walk from the centre of the holiday town of Zingst with its lively restaurants, bars, shops, and more. And you're less than a four-minute walk away from the beach. There, you can swim, relax on the sand, windsurf, surf, jet ski, sail, or canoe. Enjoy refreshing morning swims in the Baltic Sea before following one of the area's many cycle paths that ...More Details

    Blonde Venus

On the top floor of a beautiful 1900s building, we find Blonde Venus. We love its roomy terrace with views of Berlin, perfect for warm summer evenings - as well as its location in funky Kreuzkölln, which lies in the intersection of Kreuzberg and Neukölln. This three-bedroom home has a lot of charm, especially when it comes to all the intact characteristics that allude to the building’s past. * Neither of the bathrooms have low-voltage plugs * The lift is not suitable for wheelchairs* When we visited, we saw some scuff marks on the walls* Because the home isn’t baby-proof, the host has decided to rent it out to adults and older children only* Bedroom 3 is on the smaller side* Tall people be aware - the shower in bathroom 2 is only 195 cm tall* The double bed in bedroom 2 can be pulled apart to make two single beds* There’s no AC - and since it’s the top floor flat, it can get hot in the summer months* Kreuzkölln is on the up, but it's n...More Details

    Rock The Boat

Always dreamt of living on a boat? Well, now’s your chance. Found on the Spree, Rock The Boat offers an experience out of the ordinary (it can even be rented with a crew for an additional touch of luxury). The interiors are masterfully designed by Davide Rizzo, and the attention to detail shows – we loved the cosy fireplace, airy bedrooms, and the collection of antiques decorating every corner. It’s simple really, we can’t say no to a place like this – especially when it involves such stunning and calming views of the water. *This is a houseboat – we recommend guests prone to seasickness to look somewhere else*We couldn’t find a home manual when we visited*Location-wise, it’s not the best – Mitte is about a thirty to forty minute journey by way of public transport BarbequeBathtubCentral HeatingCooking EssentialsDryerFire ExtinguisherFireplaceFirst Aid KitFree Parking On PremisesFridgeHair DryerHangersIronKitchenKitchen UtensilsLaptop ...More Details

    Baroque Chronology

Baroque Chronology is the kind of eclectic home that you can only find in Berlin. Part Baroque dream, part DDR-era building, it’s a place where contrasts meet to make something new. With antique Swarovski chandeliers, a Berlin mural, vintage mahogany furniture, and the 1980s style jacuzzi, it’s got a theatrical feel. Baroque Chronology might not be for everyone, but curious minds and people looking for luxurious beds will feel right at home here. * This home isn’t located in Berlin’s most charming neighbourhood - but it’s only a short ride from Alexanderplatz and the centre of Prenzlauer Berg* This is a ground floor flat and there is not a huge amount of natural light* There are two beds in the second bedroom* If full occupancy is reached, there’s only one bathroom for all six guests* This is a characterful flat filled with weird and wonderful things – if you are a minimalist at heart then this isn't the one for you BicyclesBlack-Out ...More Details

    Show and Tell

Show and Tell is one of those homes that’s brimming with charisma. From the high ceilings to the vintage mid-century furniture and Moroccan style tiles, small treasures are hiding around every corner waiting to be found. A family home to the bone, it also houses a piano (great for playing cheery tunes) and a stylish children’s bedroom with bunk beds. Moments away from Volkspark Friedrichshain, you’re in an attractive part of Berlin that’s full of soul. *The layout is a little awkward – bedroom three can only be accessed via bedroom two*Bedroom two is clearly set up for children with bunk beds and lots of toys*The wifi is a little slow*There's a dog who usually lives here – it won't be around during your stay, but allergies might be a problem*If you’re staying for a longer period of time, the host asks that you help to water the plants*The walls could do with a lick of paint to cover up scuff marks*This is a lived-in home, expect to sha...More Details

    Joie de Vivre

Joie de Vivre oozes old-school elegance. It’s an old Altbau with high ceilings, herringbone floors, and striking crown moulding. It has everything you need for a good time – a projector for movie nights, bar accessories for making delicious cocktails, and a huge dining room with space for entertaining. Kurfürstendamm is only a stone’s throw away, so no need to hop onto the U-Bahn if you want to go shopping or have dinner in a glamorous restaurant. *The wifi was a bit slow when we visited*A dog usually lives here – it won’t be around during your stay, but it might be an issue for people with allergies*Even though there’s a lift to take you to the fourth floor, you will still have to climb a couple of steps to reach the front door BalconyBathtubBoard GamesBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCarbon Monoxide DetectorCentral HeatingDishwasherDryerDVD PlayerHome Cinema SetupIronIroning BoardKitchenLaptop Friendly WorkspaceLibrary of BooksLift AccessM...More Details

    The Roaring Twenties

Sexy with an edge of Hollywood Regency, this home couldn’t be better suited for a cosy couple in need of some glamour and luxury. Starting their journey in a restored elevator from the 1920s, guests will have an idyllic adventure before even stepping into the moody apartment underneath the gabled roof. Besides the plush bed linen, we love the light-projector show by photographer Kalstuht and the free-standing bath – this is an amorous space from top to bottom. *If you enjoy a home-cooked meal, you’ll want to look elsewhere because this home does not have a kitchen*This home is not wheelchair friendly (and probably not ideal for children either)*The immediate vicinity isn’t the most exciting*Sadly, the views won’t blow you off your feet here *Some of the art is a bit risque, which might not appeal to everybody's taste Air ConditioningAmazon PrimeBathtubBicyclesBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingElectricity AdaptorsHair DryerIronL...More Details

    Lakeside Wanderer

Imagine the very best of both worlds – a tranquil lakeside escape within easy reach of one of the world’s most exciting cities. That’s exactly what you’ll be getting at this bright and stylish home, situated on the shores of lake Strait. Less than an hour’s drive from Berlin, and located within the historic town of Strausberg, this home is an ideal location for a relaxing family getaway. The inside is inspired by the glamour of pre-war Berlin, with plush sofas, cinematic light fixtures, and stylish golden-brown tones. The wooden floors and furnishings also hint at the proximity to nature – the combination of the two themes works surprisingly well here, and we love the abundance of natural light flooding in from the large windows. Enjoy delicious family feasts at the impressive wooden dining table or choose one of the many inviting lounging spots for an evening of movies and conversation. Wood - Ceramics

Dating back to 1905, this former industrial building in the trendy neighbourhood of Wedding is an ode to Berlin’s past. Huge, warehouse-sized windows let in tonnes of natural light, illuminating the hand-crafted wood accents and collection of glassware and ceramics made by ultra-local artisans. High ceilings give an immense sense of space, and the view from the windows looks out over Berlin. Sustainability is the watchword here, with most aspects made from reclaimed wood and vintage furniture throughout. Underfloor heating keeps the chill of winter away and there’s a roof terrace for sunny summer days. You’re in the heart of Berlin’s Wedding neighbourhood here, which was once rough-and-ready and is now an ever-changing canvas of trendy cafés, galleries, parks and street markets. The S+U Wedding u-bahn station is just a two-minute walk away which can have you in the heart of Berlin in around ten minutes too. *Curated by a group of local ...More Details

    Winter is Coming

Situated on a holiday park, this home is under 600 metres from a skiing area (with 27 kilometres of slopes to enjoy) and 1 kilometre from Winterberg. Or discover the many hiking and mountain biking trails directly from your home – this is an outdoor lover’s paradise. On your way home, maybe pick up some goodies from the bakery in the holiday park, or let the kids let off steam in the shared play area. Then relax on this villa’s south-facing terrace with a cup of warming hot chocolate or cosy up next to the wood burner in the stylish open plan living space. Later, soothe any aches in the sauna here. We love the main bedroom with its private balcony (again, south-facing). Key Lime Pie

With an abundance of coworking spaces, quirky cafes and art galleries nearby, this home near Rosenthaler Platz is certainly in a lively neighbourhood. Ideal for groups of friends or families, the kitchen is well-equipped, the bathroom is fresh and functional, and the bedrooms are airy and bright. It's not bursting with character, but it does have plenty of design strengths like the funky kaleidoscope artwork, the sunny den leading onto the little balcony and, of course, the wonderful views. *The host owns several, near-identical units in the same building – layout and design might vary slightly depending on which one you end up in*Those seeking a home oozing character may want to look elsewhere*To access one of the bedrooms, you have to walk through the master bedroom – not the most private of layouts*Aside from the sunny den on the corner of the building, there's no dedicated living room *With just a single spotlight, the dining room ...More Details

    Nautical Twist

Newly built in 2021, it's no surprise that this waterfront apartment is sleek, glossy and contemporary. Plush sofas face the Marina Wendtorf, inviting you to sit back with a pilsner and watch the sunset. Take your relaxing a step further with a session in the private steam bath – we think it's the perfect respite after a long walk along the coast. If you're in the mood to cook, rustle up a meal in the streamlined kitchen using fresh seafood from the market to share around the dining table. The sea views are excellent, and they're even better from the terrace – we can already picture ourselves lolling about out there, relishing in the fresh air and watching the boats come in and out of the harbour.Situated right where Kieler Förde meets the Baltic Sea, this is one of the most renowned sailing harbours in the world, so boat trips, kite surfing and windsurfing are a given. Easy Street

With its large windows, high ceilings, and exposed concrete walls, Easy Street oozes industrial chicness. It’s managed by the architecture company that designed the entire building, as well as the living units, so expect lots of little touches and hotel-like amenities. While the kitchen isn’t well-equipped (it’s definitely not suitable for cooking up a storm), we love the minimalist approach and artistic flair. The Flying Classroom

This home is made of memories – not only Caspar’s but also the school that the 170-year-old Altbau structure used to house. Both rustic and eclectic, it combines Berlin’s rough-around-the-edges aesthetic with industrial elements, crystal chandeliers, Ostbahnhof tiles, and vintage oil paintings. The Ivory Empress

Adventurous. Nostalgic. Sophisticated. The Ivory Empress is all of that and more. Set in a building from the 1900s, its history is celebrated by the light colour palette, gorgeous wooden floors and magnificent works of art. It’s easy to see that the host has an eye for design – most things are sourced from flea markets, with each piece of art and furniture telling a story. White Wedding

Those who are particular about their design will fall head over heels for this penthouse apartment. For a start, the exterior is rather unique, as it's a new wooden development adapted respectfully on top of an industrial building dating back to 1905. The interior is a shining beacon of clean minimalism, in which every item has been selected carefully for maximum impact. The artwork on the walls, for example, is curated by different galleries and artists, and, as such, changes quite regularly. The kitchen, too, has been hidden away in a cabinet, so there's nothing but sleek white walls when it's not in use, and the linens are made from pure organic cotton. Forest Nymph

Elegant and bright, with bohemian touches, this delightful little home is in the vibrant Kreuzberg neighbourhood, known for its art galleries and nightlife. Part of a typical period building, it's overlooking a courtyard and boasts that all-important outside space – a pretty balcony with herb pots just off the kitchen. The decor is kept relaxing and neutral, with warmth added by the dark wood floors, colourful rugs and a huge monstera plant hanging over the table. from the living room window, you can take in the street views and watch the locals go about their day. It’s right opposite Markthalle Neun, one of the city’s most popular spots for trying out international cuisines and street food, and it's easy to get around with Friedrichshain and Neukölln easily reached on foot. *Sadly, this home doesn’t accept children or infants*The host would love it if you could help out by watering her plants if they need it*Light sleepers should be a...More Details

    Sunday Stroll

Sunday Stroll has been designed with care. It’s a little small, but it’s practical and comes with lots of delightful details like golden kitchen equipment and a blue velvet sofa. Due to the sleeping arrangements, and the curtain separating the living room and bedroom, this home is best suited for a couple or solo-traveller looking to explore Berlin. The immediate area isn’t the most lively, but you’re right next to the Deutsche Oper, and you’re also well-connected to the rest of the city. *Even though this home sleeps three, it would be a bit of a squeeze*The wifi is a bit slow*The kitchen is a tad small – not great for cooking up a storm*The bedroom and living room are only separated by a curtain, which might not be to everyone’s taste*Heavy packers beware – there’s not a lot of space for unpacking*Guest 3 would be on a sofa bed in the living room*Charlottenburg is a beautiful area, but it’s not the most lively part of Berlin Bathrob...More Details

    Double Shot

Housed in a grand Beaux-Arts building typical of the bustling Tiergarten district, this pristine serviced apartment offers hotel-like comforts with the privacy of your own home. Downstairs, there's a helpful concierge should you need anything – from booking a table at one of the city's most happening restaurants to organising for a continental breakfast to be delivered to your apartment each day. Upstairs, you'll love the bright, lofty feel of the home, thanks to the high ceilings and dual aspect windows, and the quiet courtyard-facing bedrooms to help bank a peaceful night's sleep. Over in the main living space, the massive dining table is the perfect spot to come together for lazy breakfasts as you hatch plans for the day ahead. And the daily housekeeping will keep things spick and span while you're out and about – which we suspect you'll be doing rather a lot of here. There's a myriad of great bistros, street food, and bakeries in th...More Details

    The Kumiko

As soon as you walk through the front door, The Kumiko meets you with an incredible sense of zen. With its light-filled interiors and Japanese-inspired furniture, it appears calm and soothing right off the bat. We can’t get over the indulgent three-sixty views of Berlin’s skyline – even though it’s in Schöneberg, you can see the roofs of some of the city’s most famous attractions from the balcony in the distance. As part of a hotel, you can also expect a fair share of amenities, like a garden that hosts regular yoga classes and a stylish lobby. *The shower isn’t the most private we’ve seen – the only thing separating it from the rest of the space is a partitioning wall*It’s part of a hotel – access is through a lobby*The kitchen isn’t well-equipped – it’s actually more of a kitchenette as there’s no oven*The bathroom is split into two – you'll find the shower and WC in separate rooms*The host will require your credit card upon check-in...More Details
