While it’s not the most stunning place in the city, Fern Fronds is a really good practical option for a comfortable stay in Rome. It is small, but it was in perfect condition when we visited, and the bathrooms are great for the size. The Bathhouse

In among the original hills of Rome, The Bathhouse is completely surrounded by history. On one side, the Nero’s infamous palace – the Domus Aurea – and on the other, the Colosseum and the Imperial Forums. Its position alone would sell, but the flat itself is not underwhelming. It has lovely views, and the kitchen is pretty big for a place of its size.
