Mint RoyaleClose to the Vatican City and Castel Sant'Angelo – both of which are a fifteen-minute walk away – this spacious five-bedroom apartment can comfortably accommodate your entire family, with enough bed space to bring some friends or relatives along for the ride. With wooden shuttered windows and an earthy terracotta glow, the exterior screams Rome. However, inside the apartment, generously proportioned communal spaces offer a contemporary vibe, with gleaming marble floors, a cool mint and light blue colour scheme, and modern furnishings throughout. Five uniquely decorated bedrooms combine exceptionally comfortable mattresses, bespoke beds and chintzy period details such as gleaming chandeliers, gilded picture frames and patterned wallpaper to create a totally unique style that we absolutely love. It's situated in the upmarket district of Prati, which serves as something of a corporate hub during the week. Antique RainbowWhen you’re staying in the centre of Rome, it’s pretty much impossible to wander without having to stop in awe to look at historic landmarks or beautiful architecture. And this is especially true of Spagna. As this apartment is only a six-minute walk from the Spanish Steps, eight from the Trevi Fountain, and the same distance to the Pantheon, you'll be left feeling overwhelmed in the most wonderful way.Just off the bustling Via del Corso, this home is set in a typically Roman building. Past the main entrance, an elegant courtyard welcomes you inside – as does your dedicated concierge. They’ll be on hand to help you arrange city tours, as well as airport transfers and most importantly, restaurant recommendations. But before heading off for fine dining, take a look inside the apartment.Stepping into the living space feels like entering a gallery. Vatican OasisJust outside Vatican City, this apartment offers a fantastic location for exploring Rome. Up on the third floor, you'll have two small balconies with enough space to sit out, and the sofa bed in the living room folds out to sleep two extra guests. At full capacity, there won't be enough seats for everyone at the dining table and the kitchen here is on the smaller side without an oven, but fear not. You'll have a selection of restaurants within walking distance, and public transport is easily accessible from your doorstep for hitting all the city's hotspots. *Parking in Rome can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport. *Your host can provide a free cot for little ones. Etruscan EleganceNot far from Campo de' Fiori and other landmarks, this apartment's location is spot-on. Being so central, there's a chance for noise, but we think it's worth the trade to be in the heart of the action. Space is a little tight with the double sofa bed in use, but you'll likely have minimal downtime if sightseeing is your priority. It's worth noting that the bedroom doesn't have an actual door – just a curtain – and that the kitchen is compact. But that aside, the contemporary finishes and prime position make this a great choice for a Roman getaway. *At full capacity, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area. *A curtain separates the bedroom from the hallway. It doesn't have a real door, so privacy may be limited. *Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay. *The kitchen is compact. We think it's best suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals. *Parking is provided, but a ...More Details

PhosphorescenceThe living room of this central Rome apartment is an instantly welcoming space, with the building's historical features, such as the double-height ceilings, herringbone terracotta tiles, and exposed brickwork, cleverly incorporated into what is otherwise a modern interior. We appreciated some of the hi-tech features, like the accent lighting and the video projector in the loft space that's perfect for a movie marathon. It’s the kind of home that could keep you occupied even if you were housebound, so it almost doesn’t seem fair that so many of the Eternal City's most iconic sights are within such easy reach and will no doubt occupy much of your time. Trevi Foutain, for instance, can be walked to in eight minutes, while the Pantheon is half that distance in the opposite direction. *The dark ceilings and small windows mean that there isn't a lot of natural light about the place, although there's plenty of ambient lighting to compensate*...More Details

Castel Sant'Angelo, St. Angelo Bridge and Piazza Navona are all five minutes on foot, while the Pantheon is ten minutes. Centurion VioletExuding plenty of Roman character and rustic charm, there are several lovely original features in this home – the most striking of which are the painted frescoed ceilings dating back hundreds of years. The chequered floors are another nice touch that point back to the history of the palazzo. Elsewhere, it's a stylish and modern apartment with coffee coloured walls, a black leather sofa and a chic dining area with quirky chairs. Right by the window, it's a great spot to feast on fettuccini on those cosy evenings in. Come morning, enjoy your double espresso perched on an elegant ghost stool around the breakfast bar, before mapping out the day's tourist itinerary. GioiellinoTucked away in the atmospheric alleys of Trastevere lies this little gem of an apartment. But once inside, it’s all fresh and contemporary interiors. Just the high ceilings tell of its historic beginnings and give the space a lofty, airy feel. We particularly love the striking sliding copper door – a smart way to close off the lounge space from the dining area should people choose to use the sofa bed as a second bedroom. And you’ll be guaranteed a good night’s sleep here, with room darkening shades in both rooms. Just don’t snooze too long with the beautiful piazzas of Trastevere and Rome’s sights waiting. The way Onsen is laid out makes it quite an unusual flat. You have two separate suites, each with its own kitchen (and each available to rent individually), which share a small courtyard. It’s the kind of place that, if misjudged, could be quite soulless, but luckily that’s not the case here. The design, heavy on plants and nods to Japanese culture, fits the space perfectly, and amplifies the brightness and sense of space. And while there isn’t much entertainment on offer (most notably, there’s no TV), the streets of Monti outside should provide all the entertainment you need. *The flat is made up of two self-contained suites that share a courtyard*There's no TV in the main communal area (though the bedrooms do have one)*One of the bedrooms doesn't have bedside tables*One person can sleep on a sofa bed Air ConditioningBathtubBlack-Out BlindsBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingDishwasherFanGardenHair DryerIronIroning BoardMicrowav...More Details
