Flavian Comfort
It’s true that the interior won’t be to everyone’s taste – it’s flashy and happy to show off a bit – but you can’t please everyone all the time. What you can do is ensure a certain level of quality, something that Nocino has no trouble with. Everything feels brand new, and from what we could see, it was all in perfect condition. The entranceway to the building was slightly messy when we arrived, but don’t let that put you off before you reach the flat. *Even though there is space for eight people to sleep here, the host, Antonio, has a limit of seven people at a time*The communal hallway as you enter the building is a bit messy, but fear not – this isn't indicative of the flat itself*The washing machine is off-limits to guests without talking to Antonio first*If the house is full, one person will be on a sofa bed in the living room Air ConditioningBalcony / PatioBlack-Out BlindsBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCarbon Monoxide DetectorCentral...More Details

Wide Awake
Paquino is perfectly comfortable, and while it lacks a bit of flair in the design department, it’s pleasant to look at. None of this really matters though, because the big thing going for it is the position, right in the heart of Monti. There are loads of excellent restaurants around (although the kitchen is actually pretty good, easily enough for a decent meal) and you really are in the cobbled streets among the ancient ruins that define the city. *You'll have to climb the stairs to the first floor – the building doesn't have . a lift.*There's no washing machine in this home – it's just outside this home.*We found a few stains on the walls, particularly in the bathroom.*This home is located within an apartment building, with a shared entrance. Tardis by the Tiber
The vast window in Salici’s living room beautifully frames the Tiber, and the willows that line its banks. There’s also a balcony, allowing you to get even closer to the river. It shouldn’t be underestimated just how special a view like this is. The flat itself has a few years on it, clearly, but it’s been kept well in that time so it’s just like any other place that hasn’t specifically been designed to be rented out. There’s also a bit of noise from the road below, but that comes from being only a five-minute walk from the heart of the action. *The bedroom doesn't have a proper door*There's a good amount of traffic passing below so some noise reaches the flat*Two guests will be on sofa beds in the living room Air ConditioningBalconyBuzzer / Wireless IntercomDishwasherHair DryerIronIroning BoardKitchenLift AccessMicrowaveMultiple Sets of KeysTVWashing MachineWi-fi...More Details

The City Station
The symmetry of Castor is almost absolute. The two bedrooms are pretty much identical (except for the bedside lamps) and revolve around the central kitchen. Character perhaps wasn’t at the top of the agenda when the place was designed, but it’s very comfortable and the bathrooms are both very big for Rome. There’s also the bonus of no squabbling over who gets which room – they’re as good as each other. *There isn't a washing machine or an oven*The communal area is quite small, and there's no communal TV*Guests 5 and 6 will be on single sofa beds, one in each bedroom Air ConditioningBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingHair DryerKitchenLuxury BeddingMicrowaveMultiple Sets of KeysPets AllowedRain ShowerUmbrellasWelcome HamperWi-fi...More Details

Boasting a large private terrace equipped with a table and chairs for alfresco dining, this is the perfect spot for espressos and pastries each morning ahead of a day of sightseeing, or a celebratory glass of Italian wine in the evening before setting out to sample one of the local trattorias. With a petite kitchenette as well as a sleek, modern bathroom, you’ve got everything you need for a carefree city stay. When it comes to exploring, make a beeline for the Vatican where Saint Peter's Basilica t...More Details
The way Onsen is laid out makes it quite an unusual flat. You have two separate suites, each with its own kitchen (and each available to rent individually), which share a small courtyard. It’s the kind of place that, if misjudged, could be quite soulless, but luckily that’s not the case here. The design, heavy on plants and nods to Japanese culture, fits the space perfectly, and amplifies the brightness and sense of space. And while there isn’t much entertainment on offer (most notably, there’s no TV), the streets of Monti outside should provide all the entertainment you need. *The flat is made up of two self-contained suites that share a courtyard*There's no TV in the main communal area (though the bedrooms do have one)*One of the bedrooms doesn't have bedside tables*One person can sleep on a sofa bed Air ConditioningBathtubBlack-Out BlindsBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingDishwasherFanGardenHair DryerIronIroning BoardKitchenM...More Details
A Roman Affair
Key to the Eternal City
Set in the heart of Rome's lively Prati district, this stylish apartment is a real crowd-pleaser. For those larger groups of friends or extended families looking to explore the Eternal City, you'll have four bright and colourful bedrooms to relax in, knowing the cultural attractions and iconic sights are right outside. Despite the lack of seating in the living-come-dining room, each bedroom offers a unique space to unwind. Styled in a chic 50s theme with vibrant colours, bold wallpaper prints and mid-century furnishings, the rooms also come with plenty of space. Each one has its own look, filled with vintage paraphernalia, from records to typewriters (they also each have a TV – the flat isn’t entirely faithful to the 50s). The bathrooms are well-designed and metro tiled, while the kitchen’s equipped for home meals – but you’re in one of the restaurant hotspots (as if anywhere in Rome isn’t a restaurant hotspot), and there are some great...More Details
Though its building dates back to 1949, this bright apartment’s interiors are dazzlingly modern. Wood floors, cool contemporary furnishings and plenty of statement lighting create a wonderfully chic ambience in the open-plan living space that gets plenty of natural light from its large windows. Whether you’re kicking back on the stylish sectional with a glass of Italian red or gathering around the dining table for a homemade feast, you’ll love socialising in this welcoming space. The bedrooms, meanwhile, are just as chic with each one boasting its own signature look. We love the main bedroom’s perfectly positioned armchair and its views of the Convento Ancelle Sacro Cuore, while the second bedroom’s four-poster bed and handy desk space are a treat for those needing to mix work with play. Factor in the gleaming bathrooms with their luxurious rainfall showers and you’ve got everything you need for a blissful city break. Outside of your hom...More Details
The Gates Of Rome
Terracotta Haven
Before we even stepped foot in this apartment we fell in love with it. Located just beside Termini station, you're connected to the entire Eternal city, while also being only a nineteen-minute walk away from the Colosseum. You really couldn't be better placed. Inside, the home has a warm, genuine feel to it with vibrant patterned wallpapers, pops of colour and dark wooden furnishings. Sleep soundly in the charming bedrooms where plenty of natural light pours through the Juliet balconies and into the rustic yet homely interior. Take to the stylish breakfast bar for a quick coffee, before exploring the iconic sights of Rome. With great links to the wider area and Italy as a whole, if you're ever looking to roam beyond the city (unlikely, we know), a trip back into the past to the ancient site of Pompeii is an excellent excursion and is just over two hours on the train. *It's quite close to the railway station, so you might be able to hea...More Details
