Much like its sister apartment in the same building, Green Jay has an air of nobility that surrounds it. Antique furniture, dark wooden windows, and tiled floors all combine to encapsulate the feeling of elegance, a feeling which is common in Flaminio. This isn’t the place to stay if you want to be in the very middle of the action, but you get a sense of calm and a detachment from the tourist crowds, which is more than worth the extra journey time. *The kitchen was generally well-equipped but it was missing a few smaller appliances like a toaster or an espresso machine*Three people can sleep on sofa beds in the communal areas of the flat*The building has a porter but only during working hours Air ConditioningBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingChild FriendlyCoffee MakerCooking EssentialsCot / CribDishwasherDryerElectricity AdaptorsFire ExtinguisherFirst Aid KitFreezerFridgeHair DryerHangersHigh ChairIronKitchenKitchen UtensilsLap...More Details
This sixth-floor loft apartment does things differently. There’s no TV for starters, and the bedrooms are comfortable, yet not breathtaking. So what caught our discerning eye? Step out onto the 200sq/metre rooftop terrace, overlooking picturesque Rome and all of your questions will be answered. The decked terrace comes with a veranda cover, plenty of sofa seating and a table for alfresco dining – we can think of nothing better than warmer evenings spent out here with friends and family, eating, drinking and laughing as the sun goes down. While there's certainly a Roman rustic charm to the home, with its wooden floorboards and low beamed ceilings, the modern details really bring the living room and kitchen to life. Light pours in through the sleek crittall windows, extending the space out to the terrace and creating a bright and airy kitchen-diner area – the modern breakfast bar is the perfect spot to sip your morning espresso. When – al...More Details
Footsteps from the Foro Romano complex and a five-minute stroll to the monumental Colosseum, this 17th-century apartment pairs original features with modern detail to create a captivating home in the heart of the eclectic Monti neighbourhood. Expect rustic timber beams, exposed brick walls and herringbone parquet floors. Splashes of cherry red bridge the gap between old and new worlds, and the sleek up-to-date kitchen showcases contemporary design. Slip into your locale’s romantic honeyed streets. You’re metres from family-run trattorias, trendy wine bars and tempting gelaterias. In the evenings, hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti, a three-minute walk away. People-watch by the 16th-century fountain before ducking into a bohemian bar for cocktails and aperitivo. When it’s time to call it a night, head home to rest easy in your comfy-cosy bed. *If you’ll be staying with a little one, a cot and window guards can be provided upon r...More Details
This apartment is nestled in residential Monte Sacro, making it ideal for laid-back stays. Simple yet comfortable, it comes with all the essentials – a fully stocked kitchen, a second bedroom with a desk and sofa bed ideal for remote working, and even air conditioning. The cherry on top is the private balcony, perfect for drinks alfresco. As it's quite far from the tourist spots, it suits those who prefer to explore locally. You'll find an array of shops, eateries, bars, and parks nearby, while central Rome can be reached by buses or the metro at Conca d'Oro Station – it's about a fifteen-minute walk away. *This home isn't suitable for children under the age of 10.*Two guests will sleep on a double sofa bed in the second bedroom, which is mostly used as a study.*As this apartment isn't in central Rome, we think it's best for those who feel comfortable with limited public transport options. With that in mind, we suggest renting a bicycl...More Details
