Packed with curiosities that reflect the eye of a globetrotter, vintage furniture combined with modern staples and a knockout view of St Peter’s Basilica, this home certainly stands out from the crowd. The level of care your host has put into the interior is impressive. Every last detail is considered, from the linens to the layout and the state-of-the-art whirlpool bathtub with colour therapy and audio system. The east-facing balcony is soaked with sunshine in the mornings, so breakfast alfresco and take your time with a cup of coffee. Your apartment is situated in the upmarket Prati district, a ten-minute walk from trendy wine bars, luxe boutiques and gourmet restaurants. Reach the hallowed edifices of Vatican City in thirty minutes by foot or ten minutes by taxi. And the towering Castel Sant'Angelo is a twenty-five-minute walk away or thirteen-minute bus ride. *This home is on the eighth floor with a lift *Your host kindly asks to r...More Details

Tardis by the Tiber
There isn’t much that’s more Italian than a Vespa, and Farobasso has two of them. These are the most eye-catching vintage objects in the apartment, but there are many more - the host has tied the theme together nicely. The entire place has been recently redone, and you can tell from the excellent condition it’s in - the bathrooms in particular feel spotless. However, Farobasso is a way out of the historic centre. It might be well-placed to visit the Vatican, but to get to the Trevi fountain, or the Colosseum, you might be tempted to commandeer one of the scooters. *Despite being well-placed for the Vatican, Aurelio isn't a very central part of the city*The wi-fi isn't very fast*The small balcony feels as if it could be put to better use*Guests 10, 11 and 12 will be on sofa beds - two in the living room and one in the master bedroom Air ConditioningBalconyBathtubBlack-Out BlindsBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingChild FriendlyCof...More Details

Flight 251
The main draw of Trinity is the unusual layout - three independent apartments all joined together, allowing up to 10 people to travel together but maintain a high degree of privacy. The place is looked after well, and guests are welcomed with wine and plenty of breakfast supplies. The décor might be quite divisive and it is a way out of the city centre - both of these are worth considering but ultimately it offers an experience unlike most others when it comes to renting in Rome. *The interior design won't be to everyone's taste*The surrounding area is fairly residential and not central*There are a few signs of wear and tear around the apartment*Guests 7, 8, 9 and 10 will be on two double sofa beds in the living rooms Air ConditioningBalconyBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingDryerHair DryerIronIroning BoardLift AccessMultiple Sets of KeysPets AllowedTVUmbrellasWashing MachineWelcome HamperWi-fi...More Details

Edoardo looks after a few places in the same building, so in a sense, it’s not a dissimilar experience to a hotel, albeit with the autonomy afforded by an apartment. The location is Ambrosia's calling card – it’s on a beautiful street in the very heart of the medieval city. It’s the perfect area for strolls, and there’s a restaurant and a wine bar on every street corner. *While there is a sofa bed, we wouldn't recommend using it, as the flat is very small, and it's in the same room as the main bed*You'll have to take the stairs to the first floor – there's no lift*It can get quite dark in the flat*The kitchen's generally well-equipped, but it doesn't have a dishwasher Air ConditioningBreakfast IncludedBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCarbon Monoxide DetectorCentral HeatingChild FriendlyCot / CribDryerElectricity AdaptorsFanFire ExtinguisherFirst Aid KitHair DryerHangersHigh ChairIronKitchenLaptop Friendly WorkspaceMultiple Sets of KeysPaid P...More Details
Donato's Cloisters
Sogni di Spazio
Instead of the very heart of Trastevere, Sky Queen is a little bit to the north. This is actually a fantastic location – you can avoid the hordes of revellers, and the Vatican is easy to reach, while the river is just at the end of the road. A quieter option in a lovely location, this home is perfect if you're looking for an authentic stay – with all the big attractions within a half-hour walk. The double-height ceiling and the large windows make this place bright and breezy, which is surprisingly rare for this neighbourhood as the narrow streets and old buildings often conspire to keep sunlight away. There's a sense of history, with beamed ceilings, and a modern twist thanks to the mezzanine bedroom floor and the floating stairs. A comfy sofa takes the prime position in the open-plan living space, with a handy desk area and a contemporary kitchen tucked away under the mezzanine. *The bed is on a mezzanine level that's open to the li...More Details
