Curia is full of contrasts – aluminium staircases and heavy wooden ceilings, antique marble window frames and pop art prints, dark furniture and white walls. It’s idiosyncratic, and all the better for it. Outside are the ruins of Largo di Torre Argentina, keeping you close to Rome’s heritage (it’s believed to be the spot where Julius Caesar was assassinated). And while the apartment’s not in absolutely perfect condition, this is very common among old Roman buildings and nothing to be alarmed about. *This home is in a central location, and some guests reported hearing street noise throughout the night – something to be aware of if you're a light sleeper*Some guests found the heating and air-conditioning to be a bit temperamental*The lift is very small – you'll struggle to get a person and a suitcase in there*There are a few small signs of age around the place, though nothing major*Both upstairs bedrooms are fairly open to the bedrooms b...More Details

The main draw of Trinity is the unusual layout - three independent apartments all joined together, allowing up to 10 people to travel together but maintain a high degree of privacy. The place is looked after well, and guests are welcomed with wine and plenty of breakfast supplies. The décor might be quite divisive and it is a way out of the city centre - both of these are worth considering but ultimately it offers an experience unlike most others when it comes to renting in Rome. *The interior design won't be to everyone's taste*The surrounding area is fairly residential and not central*There are a few signs of wear and tear around the apartment*Guests 7, 8, 9 and 10 will be on two double sofa beds in the living rooms Air ConditioningBalconyBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingDryerHair DryerIronIroning BoardKitchenLift AccessMultiple Sets of KeysPets AllowedTVUmbrellasWashing MachineWelcome HamperWi-fi...More Details

Trionfale Retreat
While you’d initially not expect anything out of the ordinary, once you step off the street you can see why Elmer is so special. Beyond the pretty internal courtyard, there are small, multi-coloured accents all over the place, from the figure of a bull on the shelf to the kitchen tiles and the beautiful bathroom sink. It is on the small side, but two would be perfectly comfortable (it can hold four, but you’d have to be ready to share your personal space). *There isn't a lot of privacy in the flat - there are no doors between the bedroom, hallway and bathroom*There's no espresso machine because the host thinks that making a coffee in a moka is an integral part of the Italian experience*Guests 3 and 4 would be on a sofa bed in the living room*The TV doesn't have English channels Air ConditioningAmazon PrimeBalconyBlack-Out BlindsBreakfast IncludedBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCarbon Monoxide DetectorCentral HeatingChild FriendlyCoffee Make...More Details

Housed in a former church in Rome’s scenic Jewish Quarter, this home is full of characterful details and historic charm, as well as being just a ten-minute stroll from picturesque Piazza Navona. Enter through the building’s grand outer door and step into an ornate courtyard where you’ll find this apartment quietly tucked away. Inside, rustic traditionalism meets quirky stylings, with a good dose of classic elegance thrown in for good measure. We love the arched windows here and the old Roman column with its elegant capital along the wall. There’s a definite air of romance in the mezzanine bedroom, framed by a wrought-iron balcony, while the pops of red in the draped curtains and sofa give the whole space a sumptuous, intimate feel. When you’re ready to explore, you've got the city's best sights within easy reach. Piazza Navona and the Pantheon are a mere ten-minute stroll away, while the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum are a twenty-min...More Details
