Despite a small footprint, Saguaro makes great use of the space it has. The mezzanine creates a feeling of openness while the colours brighten the place. We also really liked Iacopo, who we found really patient and helpful (even for a Plum host). The area is an interesting one, and depending on your point of view, could be considered a downside, as it’s a bit out of many of the main tourist hotspots. Between the old Jewish Quarter and the riverside alleys of Regola, Naive Melody is at the centre at what was the heart of medieval Rome. It was in spotless condition when we arrived, and if you were inclined to stay in, rather than explore the neighbourhood, there’s a 70” TV with Netflix to keep you busy. Outdoor space is a rarity in this historic city, but this charming home has no fewer than three terraces to choose from. Right next to the Tiber, just a fifteen-minute walk from most of the city's big attractions, you'll have incredible, 360º views – and the sunset over the Vatican is something really special. The interior is colourful and comfortable, and while it's stylish, it's easy to feel at home. It’s split over two levels at the top of a traditional building but there's a lift to take you up to your front door.
