Much like its sister apartment in the same building, Green Jay has an air of nobility that surrounds it. Antique furniture, dark wooden windows, and tiled floors all combine to encapsulate the feeling of elegance, a feeling which is common in Flaminio. This isn’t the place to stay if you want to be in the very middle of the action, but you get a sense of calm and a detachment from the tourist crowds, which is more than worth the extra journey time. *The kitchen was generally well-equipped but it was missing a few smaller appliances like a toaster or an espresso machine*Three people can sleep on sofa beds in the communal areas of the flat*The building has a porter but only during working hours Air ConditioningBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingChild FriendlyCoffee MakerCooking EssentialsCot / CribDishwasherDryerElectricity AdaptorsFire ExtinguisherFirst Aid KitFreezerFridgeHair DryerHangersHigh ChairIronKitchenKitchen UtensilsLap...More Details

Located in a narrow street between Piazza di Spagna and Piazza Navona, Kalos is a great home if you want to explore Rome on foot. The insides of this home are immaculate and in spite of mixing several different styles, they create an atmosphere of comfort and luxury. You'll get a beautiful view of the city's skyline from the windows, and if you like an alfresco coffee in the morning, Kalos boasts not one, but two balconies. Take note –three of the five guests will be sleeping in the master bedroom without privacy between the two beds. * There's no lift access to this second-floor home, and there are steps inside as well* We spotted some chipped paint right next to the shower in the second bathroom* At full occupancy, there isn't enough space for everyone to sit on the balconies at the same time*The home isn’t stocked with basic kitchen ingredients or cleaning supplies to get you started * You will need to bring your own toiletries for ...More Details

Instead of the very heart of Trastevere, Sky Queen is a little bit to the north. This is actually a fantastic location – you can avoid the hordes of revellers, and the Vatican is easy to reach, while the river is just at the end of the road. A quieter option in a lovely location, this home is perfect if you're looking for an authentic stay – with all the big attractions within a half-hour walk. The double-height ceiling and the large windows make this place bright and breezy, which is surprisingly rare for this neighbourhood as the narrow streets and old buildings often conspire to keep sunlight away. There's a sense of history, with beamed ceilings, and a modern twist thanks to the mezzanine bedroom floor and the floating stairs. A comfy sofa takes the prime position in the open-plan living space, with a handy desk area and a contemporary kitchen tucked away under the mezzanine. *The bed is on a mezzanine level that's open to the li...More Details

Il Tempio is a lovely, light-flooded apartment in Rome's Jewish Quarter, a super central location that's within easy walking distance to vibrant Trastevere and almost all the key sights in the historical centre. The home is located in an old building which gives it its lofty proportions, but the interiors are distinctly modern and stylish - we love the light fittings and the mid-century modern furniture. * The lift starts on the first floor, so there is a flight of stairs to climb to access it* This home has air conditioning in the master bedroom and sitting room only* There is only one proper bedroom so guests 3 \u0026 4 will be on a sofa bed in the living room Air ConditioningBalconyBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingDishwasherElectricity AdaptorsFreezerFridgeHair DryerIronIroning BoardKitchenLift AccessLuxury BeddingLuxury ToiletriesMultiple Sets of KeysNetflixRain ShowerTVWashing MachineWelcome HamperWi-fi...More Details
Being on the top floor of an apartment building often, although not always, brings two perks — good views and plenty of daylight. This home in the Campo Marzio neighbourhood of Rome delivers on both fronts, with large windows gazing out over the city's rooftops. We have a lot of good things to say about the interior, from the sumptuous four-poster bed to the sleek black kitchen. There's even a terrace on which to start the day with coffee and breakfast. Location-wise, a first-time visitor to Rome couldn't wish for better. Many of the big-hitters are within walking distance, while there's also a fresh food market around the corner from the building should you want to stock up on authentic ingredients for an Italian feast. *There's a very slight slope to the floor in some rooms*As you're right in the heart of Rome, you can expect a lot of tourists on the streets below, although it does quieten down at night*The apartment building has a l...More Details
Located in Rome’s Balduina neighbourhood – on Monte Mario's southern slope – this elegant apartment is an ideal base for those looking for a calm, sunny stay away from the tourist crowds. Bursting with ornate details and an abundance of natural light, this home blends subtle luxe with inviting comfort in perfect, stylish harmony. We love the glossy marble floors that dazzle in the sunlight, as well as the nods to Roman history in the artwork and ornaments. Make yourself comfortable on the plump mustard-coloured sofas with a glass of Italian wine, or better yet, sip a sundowner on the private balcony as the light fades over the neighbourhood’s rooftops. With a grand desk space in the hall, you’re all set should you need to catch up on work, while the exercise bike here is the ideal addition for active types looking to get a workout in before setting off to explore the sights. Speaking of sightseeing, you’ve got plenty of restaurants and ...More Details
