Objects of Desire
Meridian has a magical feeling about it. It’s kept in perfect condition, and while it’s solely a holiday apartment – no one lives there full-time – within ten minutes of unpacking your suitcase, it feels like a home. It’s not stuffed with objects, but the vaguely minimalist style never comes across as harsh or cold. The flat is peaceful, but in a great location next both Sempione park and Cadorna station, and while the front door can be a little hard to find, it’s worth the hunt. *There's a lift to reach the apartment, but it's very small*It's not the easiest entrance to find, but don't give up Air ConditioningBaby BathBathtubBlack-Out BlindsBoard GamesBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCarbon Monoxide DetectorCentral HeatingChild FriendlyCoffee MakerCooking EssentialsCot / CribDishwasherDryerElectricity AdaptorsExtra Pillows and BlanketsFanFire ExtinguisherFirst Aid KitFree Parking On StreetFreezerFridgeGardenHair DryerHangersHigh ChairIronKi...More Details

Located on the top floor of a historic building, this home is tucked behind Chinatown (the oldest in the country) and just a thirteen-minute walk from Parco Sempione, where you can spend some time wandering through the city’s greenery until you arrive at Castello Sforzesco. You’ll be staying in a lively and local area, a quick twelve-minute walk from the nightlife hubs of City Life and Arco della Pace, but for a lowkey night out you’ll be by the neighbourhood’s buzzing restaurants and bars. Inside, you’ll find this small space has been carefully designed – bright skylights overhead, a custom-built kitchenette and an angular breakfast nook are arranged to make the most of the little footprint. Striking red furniture and calming blue walls transform this modest modern home into a bold, personality-packed base. So relax on the sofa, enjoy breakfast at the counter and fall asleep soundly in the bedroom, feeling right at home. *The lift onl...More Details

While the design of Orpington won’t make your heart flutter, there are other reasons it makes a good spot to stay. It’s a decent size, and the balcony is great for fresh air, even if it isn’t decked out with furniture. Above all though, Orpington is very good value for money, and you’ll struggle to find anything comparable in that budget so close to both CityLife and Sempione Park. *Even though there's a lift to reach the third floor, you'll still have to climb a short flight of stairs*The lamp in the living room is the only source of artificial light in there, and it's also hanging quite low, so watch your head when you stand up*There are no basic ingredients provided, and the kitchen lacks a kettle, toaster and coffee machine*The dishwasher door can come up against a cabinet door which can make opening it a little fiddly Air ConditioningBalconyBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingCoffee MakerCooking EssentialsDishwasherElectrici...More Details
