Located on the top floor of a historic building, this home is tucked behind Chinatown (the oldest in the country) and just a thirteen-minute walk from Parco Sempione, where you can spend some time wandering through the city’s greenery until you arrive at Castello Sforzesco. You’ll be staying in a lively and local area, a quick twelve-minute walk from the nightlife hubs of City Life and Arco della Pace, but for a lowkey night out you’ll be by the neighbourhood’s buzzing restaurants and bars. Inside, you’ll find this small space has been carefully designed – bright skylights overhead, a custom-built kitchenette and an angular breakfast nook are arranged to make the most of the little footprint. Striking red furniture and calming blue walls transform this modest modern home into a bold, personality-packed base. So relax on the sofa, enjoy breakfast at the counter and fall asleep soundly in the bedroom, feeling right at home. *The lift onl...More Details

In a popular area with plenty of restaurants and cafes, and styled to perfection, you can tell this home is the passion project of an architect. The sleek apartment gets plenty of natural light thanks to several sets of French windows and includes some wonderful details like the antique mirror, the elegant dining table and the mood lighting in the bathroom (switch it to blue for an unforgettable shower). There's an open layout to the living space, with the modern kitchen cleverly divided from the rest of the room with wood slats, and we love the little balcony, accessed through the master bedroom. If you need to work from home, there's a desk in the second bedroom, along with daybeds that offer flexibility – perfect for a family.Step outside the home and you can hop on a tram that'll take you to the Duomo in just two stops, or walk into the city centre if you'd prefer. There's even a grocery shop just downstairs so life couldn't get muc...More Details

On the edge of Brera and Garibaldi, Artemis is wonderfully placed for both the nightlife that fills the area, and for getting to other parts of the city. The flat has a sense of individuality to it – the design is sophisticated, with lots of beautiful objects that elevate it beyond what you might reasonably expect from a place of its size. It’s all fairly valuable, so for that reason the host, Rita, would prefer to rent to adults, or at least not young children. *Given the value of some of the things in the apartment, Rita would prefer not to have guests under twelve*There's a hoover available on request*Unfortunately, there's no dishwasher*The fridge is stocked with beverages ahead of your stay*The bathroom is stocked with Aesop and Kiehl's products*The longest stay available at the moment is one month*There's only one set of keys for this home*Luggage storage is free of charge where available – please enquire with your host in advanc...More Details

Nocellara is on the eighth floor, so as you might imagine, the terrace has quite the view across the city. The big French windows also let lots of light in, and it’s too high for shadows from other buildings to interfere. The scarce decoration does hold the place back a bit – there are definitely more eye-catching places to stay – but for longer stays, Nocellara is excellent value and has everything you need to be comfortable. *There's no air conditioning in the bedroom*We weren't able to test the wi-fi speed when we visited, though there is a connection*There's nothing in the way of ingredients provided, not even oil or salt*The ceiling in the bedroom is sloped, which makes it hard to get round one side of the bed*In general, there could be more effort put into decorating the flat – it's quite bare Air ConditioningBalconyBathtubBlack-Out BlindsBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingChild FriendlyCoffee MakerCooking EssentialsDishwa...More Details
