Beautiful Lake Como is just 100 metres from this home, while other attractions nearby include the pretty Giardini del Tempio Voltiano with its museum, just over a five-minute walk away. Or head to Como Cathedral and Basilica di San Fedele – both are around five minutes on foot. There are a variety of cafés and restaurants for lunch on your doorstep, or head back to this elegant apartment. Open up the French doors to the Juliet balcony and take a seat on the comfy sofa to rest your feet for a while. We love the living room with its polished wood floors and vases of cream flowers. Whip up an insalata caprese in the modern kitchen and enjoy it at your dining table next to the wall adorned with giant cutlery. This home is the perfect retreat for a couple or solo traveller looking for easy access to the lake. *This home has no lift – something to bear in mind if you have limited mobility or heavy suitcases*There's a supermarket a two-minute...More Details

A perfect base for exploring Milan, here you'll be within easy walking distance of all the big attractions, with bars, shops and restaurants right on your doorstep.Inside, we love the sleek, minimalist look – pepped up here and there by a colourful statement sofa, a bright rug and the stylish monochrome tiles in the shower. It's simple and understated, but it just works. It's a particularly bright flat, with big windows and modern neutral tones. There’s also a narrow balcony, and while there isn’t space to sit outside, it’s nice to be able to get a breath of fresh air every now and then. The Basilica of San Lorenzo and its famous columns are a few minutes away on foot, while it’s about a ten-minute walk to the Duomo. *If there are six people staying, two will have to be on a sofa bed and everyon...More Details

The concept of being small but mighty is a horrible cliche and one that we won’t use to describe Lovage. However, we must admit that we didn’t expect a place as small as this to be quite so charming. You can’t get away without mentioning the view. Unremarkable in one direction, but turn the other way and the Torre Velasca looms up. And inside, despite the diminutive footprint, it doesn’t feel too cramped, and the kitchen is far more than an afterthought. *This is a studio – it's pretty small*The street outside is always busy so there's a fair amount of street noise Air ConditioningBalconyBlack-Out BlindsBuzzer / Wireless IntercomDishwasherElectricity AdaptorsHair DryerIronIroning BoardKitchenLift AccessMicrowaveMultiple Sets of KeysRain ShowerThrowsTVWashing MachineWi-fi...More Details

All but a five-minute walk to the Corso Venezia – part of the city's upscale Quadrilatero della moda shopping district – this enviable apartment sits right at the heart of the fashion hubbub. Locally, the surrounding area is lovely, benefitting from calm squares, grand architectural statements, and the historic centre is easy to get to on foot – the Duomo di Milano is a twenty-minute stroll away. Back home, you'll find a bright and roomy living space with light neutral tones, soft thoughtful furnishings, chic replica prints and a stylish Castiglioni lamp. Tramlines is in a fantastic position – central but removed from the tourists around the Duomo, and perfect for people who want to experience the Milan that its inhabitants know. It’s decked out in a neutral colour scheme, and while there’s no getting around the fact that it’s small, the general level of quality is such that it’s still very comfortable. And we haven’t even spoken about the bathroom yet, which is disproportionately large and even has a jacuzzi in it. *There's no lift so you'll have to climb the stairs to the second floor*The flat is small and there isn't a real living room*Corso Magenta is quite busy, and noise reaches the bedroom if the windows are open*There are no bedside tables*The kitchen doesn't have a dishwasher*There's a maximum stay of ten days Air ConditioningBathtubBreakfast IncludedBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCarbon Monoxide DetectorCentral HeatingChild FriendlyCoffee MakerCooking EssentialsCot / CribFire Exti...More Details
