On the edge of Brera and Garibaldi, Artemis is wonderfully placed for both the nightlife that fills the area, and for getting to other parts of the city. The flat has a sense of individuality to it – the design is sophisticated, with lots of beautiful objects that elevate it beyond what you might reasonably expect from a place of its size. It’s all fairly valuable, so for that reason the host, Rita, would prefer to rent to adults, or at least not young children. *Given the value of some of the things in the apartment, Rita would prefer not to have guests under twelve*There's a hoover available on request*Unfortunately, there's no dishwasher*The fridge is stocked with beverages ahead of your stay*The bathroom is stocked with Aesop and Kiehl's products*The longest stay available at the moment is one month*There's only one set of keys for this home*Luggage storage is free of charge where available – please enquire with your host in advanc...More Details

The sheer amount of natural light in Seedling is remarkable. It’s hard to overestimate the effect that can have on a flat. There’s a relaxed atmosphere to the place, underscored by the abundance of plants and books. It feels like somewhere to retreat to after a day out, whether sightseeing or working. Equally though, you could easily spend hours lounging around that living room. If you couldn’t tell, we’re rather taken by Seedling. *The building has a doorman, but only until 5pm*There are quite a few scuff marks and scratches on the walls*We came across a fair amount of Violetta's belongings when we visited*It's a matter of preference, not a criticism, but the mattress is fairly soft*The shower is 180cm high – tall people might have to duck*There's no dishwasher Air ConditioningBalcony / PatioBathtubBicyclesBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingChild FriendlyCleaning ProductsCooking EssentialsDishwasherDoormanDryerDrying RackFreeze...More Details

Empatia goes to show how much you can do, even with a small space. The flat’s very bright, and when you’re inside, it’s clear how much work Marta’s put into the place – she designed it all herself. While there are bright colours all over the place, they’re set against fairly neutral backgrounds, so never feel overwhelming. We particularly like the creativity shown with the balcony – repurposing the space like that takes a fair amount of imagination and it pays off. *While the flat isn't a studio, the living room and the bedroom are the same space*There's no lift so you have to climb a lot of stairs to reach the flat*The TV is very small – hardly a home cinema experience*Getting to the balcony requires a little agility to climb out the window*There's no washing machine or tumble dryer Air ConditioningBalconyBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCarbon Monoxide DetectorCentral HeatingCoffee MakerCooking EssentialsDishwasherDVD LibraryDVD PlayerEspr...More Details
While Redlake is a nice flat in itself (and Laura is a great host), the most exciting thing about it is the location. 10 Corso Como, the concept store to end all concept stores (it has an art gallery, a restaurant, and even a hotel inside), is right next door, as part of a stretch of high-end shops that act as a foil to the stately boutiques in the Quadrilateral. It’s one of the most fashionable districts in the city. *As the flat's on the ground floor, it doesn't get a tonne of natural light*Some of the appliances aren't brand new*The second bedroom faces onto the street, and so there might be some traffic noise*There aren't any bedside tables in the third bedroom Air ConditioningBathtubBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCarbon Monoxide DetectorCentral HeatingChild FriendlyCleaning ProductsCoffee MakerCooking EssentialsCot / CribDishwasherFire ExtinguisherFirst Aid KitFridgeGymHair DryerHangersIronIroning BoardKitchenKitchen UtensilsLaptop F...More Details
Situated just a few steps from Corso Garibaldi, Milan's central hub for world-class shopping and the city's nightlife, the lively location of this apartment is undoubtedly its best-selling point. With so many happening bars and restaurants on your doorstep, there'll be little need to prepare your own meals here, however, the small kitchen space allows you to do so should you prefer. There's a Nespresso coffee machine with pods and a selection of teas to get your stay off to a well-caffeinated start. Meanwhile, the air conditioning and designated desk space (if you'll need to work from home) are convenient extras that will make your stay here all the more comfortable. *The apartment is located on the first floor, without a lift. *Bed linens and towels are changed every three days here. *Parking in Milan can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to the easily accessible public transport where possible. *Given the home's central spot, exp...More Details

In a popular area with plenty of restaurants and cafes, and styled to perfection, you can tell this home is the passion project of an architect. The sleek apartment gets plenty of natural light thanks to several sets of French windows and includes some wonderful details like the antique mirror, the elegant dining table and the mood lighting in the bathroom (switch it to blue for an unforgettable shower). There's an open layout to the living space, with the modern kitchen cleverly divided from the rest of the room with wood slats, and we love the little balcony, accessed through the master bedroom. If you need to work from home, there's a desk in the second bedroom, along with daybeds that offer flexibility – perfect for a family.Step outside the home and you can hop on a tram that'll take you to the Duomo in just two stops, or walk into the city centre if you'd prefer. There's even a grocery shop just downstairs so life couldn't get muc...More Details
