Those looking for a quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle of tourist crowds will find this apartment near the Arsenal of Venice a comfortable base from which to explore the city. Though the decor is functional and the touristic art on the walls a little uninspiring, the two bedrooms are minimalist and uncluttered and the pair of bathrooms will come in handy for morning routines ahead of a busy day of sightseeing. Speaking of which, the Biennale Gardens are a five-minute walk away and a fifteen-minute stroll will bring you to St Mark’s Square and the Rialto Bridge. Alternatively, hop on a water bus from the nearby vaporetto stop to explore the wider city, Piazzale Roma and Murano Island. *This home is accessed via stairs only, so it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility *The decor is functional – those looking for a more characterful stay may wish to look elsewhere*The kitchen is compact and lacks an oven – we think ...More Details
From The Rooftop
Filled with historic artworks, mesmerising frescos, and majestic carved wood doors, this Venice apartment feels a little like living in an art museum. Oozing character, it’s fit for someone who wants a taste of what the home of a Venetian noble family probably looked like. Wall-sized oil paintings feel as though they’re on loan from the Uffizi, illuminated by a sparkling chandelier at night and sunlight from long windows during the day. There’s a dedicated, book-lined office should you need to work remotely and there’s something charmingly provincial about the dark wood kitchen. Then there’s the patio. Out here, between the porticoed verandas, vines twist along the walls and stained-glass windows add a sense of privacy. Coffee or cocktails can be taken at the wrought-iron dining set and sitting out here it’s hard to imagine you’re in the centre of Venice. Campo San Stefano is on your doorstep – and you’re only a ten-minute walk from bot...More Details

On a bustling street corner in San Marco, Medusa is in a very good location for seeing the sights. St. Mark’s Square is a couple of minutes away on foot, while the Rialto bridge is less than ten. It’s not the sort of place that’s going to win any interior design awards, but it’s perfectly comfortable, and undeniably practical. The recent renovation means that everything is in good shape. *You'll have to take the stairs to reach the flat*As the windows faced inwards, there are some parts that don't get much natural light*While the kitchen is fine for the basics, it doesn't have an oven*Both showers are a little bit lower than we'd like Air ConditioningBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingChild FriendlyCoffee MakerCooking EssentialsCot / CribDishwasherDryerDVD PlayerFridgeHair DryerHangersIronKitchenKitchen UtensilsLaptop Friendly WorkspaceMicrowaveMultiple Sets of KeysOvenStoveTVWashing MachineWi-fi...More Details
