Located on the cusp of the Eixample neighbourhood, this apartment puts you in an excellent position to explore the city in style. It's right on the Ronda de la Universitat, a major thoroughfare in the city, but this sanctuary is pretty peaceful – thanks to it being on the inner side of the building, you get to enjoy the central location without the noise. We liked the splashes of mauve in the living room, as well as the use of natural materials. The kitchen is kitted out with basic seasonings and cooking ingredients, and there's a juicer and Nespresso machine to make mornings a delight. And the true standout feature of this home is the bedroom, with its impressive modern twist on a classic four-poster bed and painted brick wall. Located on Barcelona's busiest shopping street brimming with stunning Modernist architecture, Gracia is central, stylish, and wonderfully homey. It's truly remarkable to be able to see two of Gaudi's masterpieces, Casa Battló and La Pedrera, from the balconies. And we absolutely fell in love with the classic interior design, the elegant arched doorways, the original cornices, and the lovely large kitchen.
