Since Barcelona doesn't have a lot of beachside apartments, there's a zone right across the road from it, where modern high rises offer a brilliant view of the sea and the developing Poblenou. Maresme is only a few minutes away from the beach, but you'll need to take the nearby metro to get to Eixample. In the summer, this home really comes alive with a whole extra lounge and dining area on the balcony that overlooks Nova Mar Bella beach. But even in the winter, the elegant design creates a pleasant atmosphere. * The furniture on the balcony is due for an update* Due to the rules of the building, you'll need to keep the noise down at all times* Aside from a TV with local channels, this home doesn't have a lot of entertainment options* The communal swimming pool is only open during the summer* The fifth bedroom only has a single bedside table* At full occupancy, there aren't enough seats at the dining table* The only parking available i...More Details
Down the Flower Walk
Located on Barcelona's busiest shopping street brimming with stunning Modernist architecture, Gracia is central, stylish, and wonderfully homey. It's truly remarkable to be able to see two of Gaudi's masterpieces, Casa Battló and La Pedrera, from the balconies. And we absolutely fell in love with the classic interior design, the elegant arched doorways, the original cornices, and the lovely large kitchen. The wifi is exceptionally speedy, a cleaner comes to freshen up the place daily, and a concierge is on hand during the day in case you need help with anything. *Compared to the other rooms in the home, the bathrooms are all fairly dated*Some of the switches have traditional old bells used to call service – some guests will find the noise tedious after a while*As it has lower ceilings and only a small window facing an interior patio, the kitchen suffers from a lack of natural light*The small green twin bedroom is a bit sad design-wise ...More Details

Catalonian Bloom
Live like a local in this smart Barcelona apartment, located in the vibrant Eixample district. You'll love getting comfortable in the bright living room, perhaps opening a bottle of Spanish red wine, and planning your stay in the city. When you get hungry, you can whip up your favourite meal in the kitchen, before gathering around the chic glass table to enjoy your culinary creations – there are even a few flamingoes on the wall for company. However, we think the best part of this contemporary home has to be the balcony, a fantastic spot for people-watching and chilling out at all times of day. The surrounding area is famous for its modernist architecture, and you'll love wandering through the streets, dipping into local boutiques and cafés as you go. The breathtaking Parc Joan Miró is just a ten-minute walk away, where you'll find plenty of open space, while the Plaça d'Espanya is just a little further. And, with the nearest metro stat...More Details

Upon the Horizon
When your home is just a three-minute walk from the dragon-like facade of Casa Batlló, you can certainly say that you’re in the heart of Gaudí’s Barcelona. Inside, colour and decor work together to create a playful and quirky vibe. The bright green shutters on the French doors certainly look traditional, but contrast tastefully with modern interiors. Similarly, we love the minimalist furniture in the kitchen and living space, juxtaposed with busy, patterned feature wallpaper. Situated on one of the main veins of the city, this apartment is more than convenient. Sightseeing is easy from this location, as well as from the home itself – the balconette stretches from the lounge to the bedroom, allowing ample space to look out to fantastic views. Down on the street, you can walk two minutes to the Passeig de Gràcia metro to get all around the city. A stop you should definitely make is the thirteen-minute train trip to the Sagrada Familia.
