We spent much of our stay at this three-bedroom villa slightly slack-jawed at the beauty of the place. The honey-coloured stone of the exterior glows in the sunshine, while the turquoise salt-water pool glistens invitingly. Inside, gorgeous stone walls, wooden beams and elegant furniture meet, resulting in a cool ranch-house style with every comfort you could wish for. Vast windows let light pour in, and create an open indoor/outdoor feel. Terraces line the house, with tables for alfresco dining as well as comfy swings and hammocks – it’s remarkably easy to while away several hours while drifting gently in the breeze.
