The Beautiful Land
You’ll find this typically Mallorcan villa a five-minute wander from the heart of Pollença’s old town, where charming cafes, bars and restaurants line the cobblestone streets and a farmers market sells fresh produce every Sunday. A short drive to the northeast places you at Port de Pollença, famous for its picturesque beaches and hiking opportunities – the Boquer Valley walk was one of our favourites. After soaking up the sunshine on Platja Can Cap de Bou, head home for a barbecue on the patio and some drinks by the pool. The Countryside's Calling
Set in the Marratxí district, this single-storey villa is perfect for families or groups of friends looking for room to spread out. Inside, it’s bright and clutter-free. There’s an elegant living room with comfy armchairs for curling up with a good book and a fully-equipped kitchen with everything you could need for rustling up Mallorcan-inspired dishes. Though we think you’ll spend most of your time on the terrace, lounging on the white sofas and tending to the sizzling barbecue. When the temperature rises, plunge into the saltwater pool and float about for a while. Or why not hit the beach? Platja de Can Pere Antoni is only a fifteen-minute drive away. If you like to soak up local culture on your holidays, Palma is packed with history – the Royal Palace of La Almudaina is reached in twenty minutes by car. As the day draws to a close, find an authentic eatery in the Old Town for a slap-up supper and a well-earned glass of wine. *This ...More Details
