Stay Wild isn’t the most inspiring home in our Madrid Collection. The decoration is a bit on the generic side and we’re definitely not ecstatic about the fake plants. All of this can be forgiven though, with its location just moments from Plaza Mayor. The balconies offer views onto Calle Mayor and even a glimpse of Casa de Campos. This makes it ideal for those in search of a functional base to explore the city. * This home can accommodate up to six guests, but guests 5 and 6 will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the communal area* We’re not the biggest fan of the enclosed kitchen with no natural light* This home doesn’t have an oven – avid cooks may want to look elsewhere* Due to its central location, it can get pretty noisy with the windows open Air ConditioningBalconyBlack-Out BlindsCentral HeatingDishwasherHair DryerIronIroning BoardKitchenLift AccessMicrowaveMultiple Sets of KeysTVWelcome HamperWi-fi...More Details

Only a few minutes away from the vast greenery of Retiro, Omphale is best suited for those who want to stay in the centre, but prefer a more residential feel. The streets surrounding Omphale are full of upscale shops and small tapas bars, perfect for a bit of browsing. This home is designed with simplicity in mind, leaving the location and natural light as its two greatest assets. It's got a few scratches here and there, but it's cosy and has a big well-equipped kitchen, perfect for social cooking. * The extra bedding and other miscellaneous items take up too much space in the bedroom closets* When we visited, we spotted some stains on the couch and scuff marks ion the living room wall * The kitchen doesn't have any natural light unfortunately * The second bedroom has a pull-out bed rather than two singles Air ConditioningBalconyBicyclesBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCarbon Monoxide DetectorCentral HeatingCoffee MakerCooking EssentialsDish...More Details
You can enjoy the best of Madrid from this chic, central apartment. It’s in the heart of the city, close to all the key attractions, including Plaza Mayor. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, so you’ll never be far from your next great meal, and the apartment has a well-equipped kitchen and dining table for those wanting to dine in. You’ll also have an attractive living room to enjoy, and a balcony where you can watch the world go by. This apartment is perfect for a family or group of friends. *Parking in Madrid can be tricky so we recommend sticking to the easily accessible public transport system. Sevilla metro station is a short walk away. *Your host does not accept bookings for groups of young people.*There’s no room to sit out on the balcony. When you see as many flats as we do, you learn very quickly to tell which homes have been done up for convenience, and which are a labour of love. Toquilla clearly falls into the latter category. It’s been designed as a whole, with thought and attention put into the schemes, as well as the materials. We particularly liked the concrete pillars and the glass walls, neither of which are especially common in Madrid. The only real complaint we have is the fake plants – They’re understandable for the convenience, but really, most places would be better off without anything. *We like the look of the glass wall between one of the bedrooms and the living room, but it doesn't leave much to the imagination*That bedroom also has two single beds pushed together, rather than a real double bed*We found some limescale on the taps*Neither of the bathrooms have any windows*Two people can sleep on a double sofa bed in the living room Air ConditioningBla...More Details

Elegance meets rustic charm in this light-filled apartment located in Madrid’s Justicia neighbourhood, known for its neoclassical buildings and upscale boutiques. We love how the large open-plan living area’s exposed wooden beams and parquet floors are paired with chic modern furnishings and colourful pieces of art to create a space that feels wonderfully welcoming. Your eyes will immediately be drawn to the pair of French doors that lead out onto charming wrought-iron Juliet balconies – the ideal spot to enjoy your morning coffee while watching the hustle and bustle of the street below or a glass of wine at sundown. At night, gather around the beautiful dining table for a homemade tapas feast before retreating to the carefully curated bedrooms for a peaceful night’s sleep. When it comes to sightseeing, you couldn’t be better placed. Walk just ten minutes to explore the many shops lining Gran Vía or wander around scenic Plaza Mayor, a tw...More Details
Quirky designs and abundant natural daylight present this light and airy space in true contemporary style. Making this spot an idyllic apartment to retreat to after time spent discovering all that Madrid has to offer. At first glance, you'll notice that tasteful pops of colour bring a contagious energy to the space through neon cushions and a dreamy, bright orange couch. We particularly love the careful transition that unfolds between living areas here – as while the space feels large and open at certain angles, you'll be able to find peace and privacy when needed too. Take moments of solitude on the chaise longue with a book selected from the home library, or why not try your hand at whipping up some local Spanish delicacies over in the kitchen? Stationed amidst the endless array of upmarket restaurants bars of El Viso, from here, you'll be within easy reach of some of the city's most reputable food and drink scenes.
