After Light
Located in La Latina, the neighbourhood that combines bohemian style in spite of being within walking distance to all the major sights, The Pages is a perfect residence. Quirky artwork and playful wallpapers break up the monotony of the immaculate walls, while the iron-wrought balconies with French doors maximise the daylight in the large spaces. *There are several steps leading to the elevator – those with limited mobility or heavy suitcases take note*Due to the central location, you'll hear some noise with the windows open *This home can physically accommodate up to ten guests, but the last two will need to settle for the sofa bed*At an occupancy above eight, there won't be enough space at the dining table *There are only four chairs at the breakfast bar unfortunately*You won't find a manual or handbook for this home, but your host should be on hand if you have any issues Air ConditioningBalconyBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCarbon Monox...More Details
While the original wooden doors of the building may hark back to a different era, this apartment is full of modern charm and 21-century style. Located in front of the beautiful Plaza de la Villa and just a five-minute walk from Plaza Mayor, it couldn’t be more conveniently located to make the most out of Madrid’s sights.Inside, a sociable open-plan living area invites you to kick back and relax, whether around the dining table for fresh coffee and pastries each morning or on the chic sofa for a glass of wine after a day of exploring. Both bedrooms are simple yet wonderfully comfortable and we’re particularly fond of the main bedroom’s French doors that lead out onto a scenic Juliet balcony. Factor in the sleek marble-clad bathrooms, and you’ve got everything you need for a carefree stay. When it comes to sightseeing, wander around nearby Plaza Mayor or Puerta del Sol (an eight-minute walk), visit the Royal Palace of Madrid (a five-minut...More Details

The terrace is the first thing that grabs your attention at this fabulous home, housed in a historic building dating back to 1919 – it's the perfect place for a glass (or a pitcher) of sangria. It really is a fantastic, south-facing outdoor space, with a sunshade – relax on the sun loungers or enjoy some alfresco tapas. There's an outside shower too to rinse off the suncream before going indoors. Inside, there's lots of light, and the huge living room is a wonderful space to entertain. We love the original artwork and colourful wallpapers in the bedrooms. This apartment is perfect for a group of friends, family or professionals on a business trip. We were surprised, as well, given its central, Calle Gran Vía location, how quiet it is here. Step out of the door, and you're on Madrid's most famous street, right in the centre of the capital. Here you'll find some of the city’s most iconic buildings, as well as boutiques, restaurants (let y...More Details

Sitting within Madrid’s eclectic Puente de Vallecas neighbourhood, this modern apartment is an ideal base for those looking for an authentic taste of the city away from the tourist crowds.Bright and stylish, the home’s decor is a blend of Scandinavian design and Spanish accents, creating a strikingly cool impression from the moment you walk through the door. We love the wood floors and natural tones in the furnishings, while the leafy houseplants provide bright pops of colour against the sparkling white walls. Make yourself comfortable on the sofa with a glass of wine or gather around the chic dining table for an at-home feast when you’re not out sampling the local food scene. The bedrooms – each one stylishly pared-back – beckon a restful night’s sleep while the beautifully tiled bathrooms invite relaxing wake-ups with their luxurious rainfall showers.Outside of your home, it’s an easy nineteen–minute Metro ride to the beautiful Jardín...More Details

This stylish home's location is a shopper's paradise. The designer boutiques, jewellery stores, art galleries and Michelin-starred restaurants of Ortega and Gasset, Velázquez and Claudio Coello streets are within a twenty-minute walk. The National Museum of Natural Sciences, on the other hand, is a six-minute stroll, while Sala Canal de Isabel II, housed in a former water tank, is eighteen minutes on foot and has photography and fashion exhibitions.Back at this apartment, whip up some huevos estrellados in the modern kitchen and enjoy it at your dining table with its Eames style chairs. Then enjoy a glass of Spanish wine on the comfy sofa – the living space has lovely views over verdant trees, or relax on the rocking chair in the bedroom. We love the bathroom here with its zigzag grey and white tiling. This home is ideal for a couple or a solo traveller looking to be within walking distance of a range of attractions. *The dining table ...More Details
