112sqm altbau mit 2 balkonen/beautiful b
With a huge vinyl collection, guitars on the walls and an out-of-this-world sound system, there’s no doubt that Melomania is a music lover’s dream. It’s stylishly decorated with splashes of colour, relaxing balconies and a rooftop with striking 360 views of Berlin’s rooftops. And let’s not forget about the open shower. We love that everything is designed with meticulous attention to detail, making for a luxurious stay in one of Berlin’s hippest neighbourhoods. * There’s currently no home manual — you’ll have to ask for help on how to use the appliances* This is a lived-in home — expect to share the space with some of the host’s belongings* Guests 3 and 4 would be on a double bed on the mezzanine level* The fridge can currently only be opened from the top — the host is working on changing this* Kreuzberg is very hip and popular with a bar-loving, partying crowd — if you’re looking for peace and quiet, you should probably look elsewhere*...More Details
This stylish apartment has a distinct 1960s feel to it. And the best of all, you ask? It’s all happening inside a charming Altbau, with high ceilings and big windows galore. Natural light pours into the spacious communal areas and bedrooms, combing with a mint green colour scheme and an abundance of luscious houseplants to create a calm and breathable apartment to unwind. For those keeping one eye on work during their stay, you'll notice a light-filled desk space to set up a home office. Full of funky patterns, retro tiled flooring and chic decor, you'll find the sociable open-plan space a great spot to hang out with friends and family after a day spent sightseeing around Berlin. Better still, step out onto the private balcony with a glass of something bubbly and watch how the locals go about their daily lives below. The location is as central as it gets, with Alexanderplatz just around the corner (about five minutes on foot) – and if y...More Details

With a bohemian 1960s flair and lots of colours, Rosemary is a cool blast from the past. Chic and retro, it’s got lots of character – and we love that it still manages to feel very personal. As there are no windows in the kitchen, this room can get a little dark, but luckily, the living room makes up for it with its luminous Altbau windows and beautiful high ceilings. Just five minutes away from Alexanderplatz, you’re in a wonderful location if you’re looking to explore Berlin’s sights. *Aside from a small TV and DVD player, there are no entertainment options*The bathrooms are a little tired-looking – the grouting, in particular, could do with some love*We noticed some holes in the living room ceiling due to a previous lighting system*The wallpaper is slightly damaged in some places*There are no windows in the kitchen, which means that it can get a little dark *It's a residential building only suitable for quiet groups BathtubBicycles...More Details

Sage looks like it’s stuck in a bohemian moment of the 1960s – and we're here for it. Positively brimming with retro furniture, hip artwork, and a vibrant colour palette, it’s like breathing in a breath of fresh air. We love that all of this is happening inside an old Altbau building, with big windows and high ceilings, allowing plenty of natural light to stream through the large bedrooms and spacious communal areas. It's a real crowd-pleasing home, with three brightly coloured bedrooms, each with their own eclectic prints, funky patterns and green houseplants. Set against the backdrop of Mitte, it’s in an excellent location for exploring too. Alexanderplatz is around the corner (a five-minute walk away) – and if you feel like exploring Museum Island, it’s less than fifteen minutes from home by foot. *At capacity, four people will be sleeping on sofa beds in communal areas*The bathroom is a little tired-looking – the grouting in the ba...More Details
