Breakfast and dinner are included in the homestay fee. We will have dinner together every day. We are a friendly and open-minded family. We started our host family in 2013 and have hosted over 140 groups of guests. For guests who stay longer than 3 months, we sometimes plan an optional trip to the hot springs to travel with the whole family. After dinner, guests and we spend time in the living room talking, watching TV or anime, or playing games. If the schedule allows, we offer free kimono and yukata dressing experiences and Japanese cooking lessons. Unlimited free Wi-Fi is available in the house. During weekdays, grandmother is at home. She does not speak English, but if you are practicing your Japanese, you are welcome to practice your conversation. The nearest train station is an 8-minute walk away. There is a supermarket in front of the station that is open 24 hours a day. There is a convenience store and another supermarket near my house. Restaurants, pubs, karaoke bars, beauty salons, city hall, and hospitals are all on the road to the station. There are many temples and shrines near my house. There is also a portable shrine museum.
