With a great hillside location close to the east coastline of Paxos, this villa has superb views of the bright blue sea and the Greek mainland on the very distant horizon.

Even just reading those words will tell you that it's an idyllic backdrop that makes it easier than ever to relax. Lazy afternoons can be spent gliding through the swimming pool, catching some rays on one of the loungers or seeking some shady respite under the woven-roofed verandah.

Inside, the array of glass doors and windows means that the Mediterranean sunshine is invited inside, too. We're big fans of the contemporary design, which puts emphasis on a soothing colour palette of greys and whites, as well as clean lines and industrial-chic lighting.

When you fancy a change of scenery, the nearest beach — Paralia Kamini — takes less than ten minutes to reach on foot, while there are shops and restaurants aplenty in the port town of Gaios, twenty-five minutes' walk away.
