Well equipped open plan country kitchen with microwave/combi, coffee maker, toaster, foodmixer, electric casserole electric Grill /reclat. fridge/freezer.

Bedroom with 4 poster queen size and single with ensuite toilet and basin. Bedroom with queen size and antique cot. Both bedrooms are oak beamed, pitched ceilings and exposed stone. Both bedrooms have electric blankets and ceiling fans.

Large bathroom with walk in power shower, full size bath with power shower over. Bidet, wc, basin - Victorian style antique gold fittings. Washing machine Ironing board/steam iron. Large double glazed veranda eating area, cane chairs, plants, telescope golf sets and good quality tennis racquets


Outside Amenities: The views are breathtaking from every aspect of the 12 acre property with wooded walks 1-4 hours direct from property.

There is a large well stocked, enclosed private garden with lawn, trees and shrubs. 2 terraces wooden abri, with wooden garden furniture, 2 parasols and sunbeds with cushions.

The veranda has 17 meters of double glazed sliding windows. Covered parking. Large field adjacent layed out in terraced rows, for vegetables.

The sechoir land has its own independent access, separate from the house access, but with foot access to the field below, with possibility of larger project/ home grown produce. Very successful electroculture trial in ‘23 brought good yields


Surrounding Area: The area is a delight!

Lush green hills and valleys, dotted with white stone farmhouses and medieval hilltop bastide villages; made up of vineyards, fields of sunflowers, maize, garlic, melons, lavender linseed etc. Patchworks of colour in an ever changing landscape, absolutely perfect for writers, painters walkers, cycling, fishing, birdwatching, stargazing..... and golf nearby

Ste Alauzie is between three old bastide villages all within 10mins drive Situated on the southern border of the Lot 15 mins drive to Motorway and just 20 minutes drive to the medieval capital Cahors.


Full information for one and half day excursions is well documented at the cottage. Visit the gorges of the Averyon, Cordes and Albi and Toulouse St Cirq la Popie, caves of Peche Merle or Roccamadour, Caves of Padirac The famous Cahors wine tasting route. Chateau's dotted along the Lot river. Gastronomic restaurants and village day and night markets abound.
