Waterfront apartment with private garden – A home away from home
On the second floor of Metaxa house is a large apartment, with 4 rooms, a magical garden in the back and a balcony with breathtaking views. Climb 20 steps and enter the patio with a garden built in the form of terraces on the mountain made of rock, offering total privacy. Guests can relax in this spacious house and beautiful patio and garden. And it's only a 7-minute walk from the ferry boat and town center, with tavernas and cafes right next door - a quiet yet central location. Parking is available in front of the house. Amenities include wifi, AC, kitchen (basic), beds - large master bedroom (see the sea from bed!), one smaller bedroom, and a sofa bed in the lounge.
Our traditional Poros Town townhouse oozes authentic charm - original wood floors, traditional windows, thick walls, fireplace and more. When we renovated the apartment 2 years ago, we were careful to keep its old-world charm yet make it comfortable and appealing, with a spacious and stylish bathroom with a separate shower and a bathtub. One side faces to the deep blue of the sea and the other side - the green garden, with flowers and trees (lemon, orange and pomegranate).
The townhouse is located in the quiet Punda neighborhood, close to the edge of Poros town, yet only a 7 minutes walk from the ferry boat and town center, with taverns, a yacht rental and cafes right next door. A quiet yet central location.
We invite you to imagine yourself sitting in the beautiful terraced garden, drinking a cool glass of refreshing lemonade (you're welcome to make lemonade from the fruits of our zesty lemon trees, next to the pomegranate) while sunbathing, or eating a Greek salad in the garden table. At sunset, nothing compares to sitting in the balcony, watching the sea and sky change colors as you sip local wine, and at night – step out to the garden look up at the sky – you'll see the beautifully clear, star-studded sky.
