We rent a room of the 4 that our house has, this helps us in the family economy. The room is on the first floor and includes a small living room with a spectacular view of the Beagle Channel and the mountains. It is located 12 blocks from the city center, where you can walk in 15 minutes. At home you can feel like one of the family. We are married with a baby and three more children who are part-time at home. We both speak Spanish and English. We like to receive people and share part of the culture and knowledge about Ushuaia and Tierra del Fuego so that the visitors get the best experience. Whenever possible, we are going to look for guests at the airport to guide them and give them the first tips about the city and the options it offers. Every day we offer coffee or tea, milk, bread, butter and jams for breakfast (included with the stay). You can use the common spaces like the living room and the kitchen, and use without any cost the kitchen utensils and basic ingredients like salt, oil and spices. The bathroom is shared (only with the family since it is the only room rented in the house). When schedules match, we usually bring guests to the city interest points as museums or bus stop. Notice to all travelers who come to Ushuaia, to convert the price in dollars or euros to Argentine pesos, you must consider that it does not correspond to the "official" price. The value that the hosts consider is the so-called "blue dollar" or "parallel dollar", which is a little more than double the official value (currently, 2022). It will be a pleasure to answer any questions you have and give them place at home.
