English teacher folkdance teacher

If you are coming to Montreal to learn English, you can live comfortably with Hilda and Peter in their house in central Montreal, practice speaking English at home every day and learn more about life in Canada. Hilda teaches English in a school for new Canadians and Peter teaches folkloric dancing in a community centre. Hilda loves to go cross country skiing in winter and kayaking and hiking in summer. Peter and Hilda invite the homestay guests to share these activities if they want. You will have your own private bedroom, and will share the kitchen, dining room, bathrooms, living room, garden, washing machine and dryer. Hilda and Peter live very close to the Snowdon Metro Station, on a quiet tree-lined street near many convenient shops, cafes and bus routes. High speed internet is included. You will keep your own room clean but a housekeeper comes once a week to help clean the common areas. Meals are not included (we don't give breakfast, lunch or supper) but we supply basic items like sugar, flour, spices, soap, towels and sheets. It will be easy for you to buy the food you want and to cook in the shared kitchen. PlEASE NOTE: the homestay fee has 2 parts. One part, paid to Hilda, is $690 CAD for 30 days. You can pay for the first 30 days when you arrive in our home. The other part is the fee you will pay online to HOMESTAY.COM website for their service. That fee stays with HOMESTAY.COM, and is separate from the fee that you will pay Hilda. I had a great time with Hilda and Peter. They are very friendly and helpful, and I felt right at home from the first moment. My room had everything I needed to enjoy my stay. Hilda's house is clean, quiet, and close to everything I needed. It is only two minutes from the Snowdon Metro (Orange and Blue lines) and minutes from all of the shops and cafes such as Metro, Second Cup Cafe, Starbucks, and others.

I had a wonderful time at Hilda's this summer. She is a very nice host, and so is her husband. You will feel at home ! Moreover, the neighborhood is nice and the house is close to the subway station. I would highly recommend.

Hilda and Peter's home is a charming place to stay. It's perfectly located and comunicated. The metro stop is only 1 minute far and there are a lot of restaurants and groceries stores near. Hilda and Peter are also very nice and they have transform the long and cold winter days in warm and pleasant. It was a pleasure to arrive home after a long day of work because they make you feel comfortably and at home. I hightly recomend to everybody who was looking for a place to live in Montreal!
