My name is Kim and I live in Chrey Village with my wife and 4 children. I am a tuk tuk and taxi driver so I can easily pick you up from the airport and take you to see many nearby temples including Angkor Wat and any other places you like. Our village is quiet, very safe and 7 km out of Siem Reap city with a big lake close by for swimming. You can walk or take our bicycles and see a real Cambodian village and local people. You can also use our scooter. We have a total of 5 private rooms for you to choose from with queen size bed(s), desk, cupboard, and a private bathroom with shower or bathtub. Three of the rooms have air conditioning and fans and two have fans. laundry is also available. My wife is a great cook and will be happy to provide you with a delicious breakfast ($2 per person) and lunch or dinner (3$ per person). Around our garden we have many mango trees, banana, papaya, orange, grapefruit and jackfruit which you can take as you like, and they provide cool shade for a hammock, which we have many. A private traditional Cambodian cooking class is also available in our kitchen on request. I also provide free English school to the children in our village in the afternoon/evening. Most families living in the villages cannot pay for language school so we provide all classes and materials we can to our students for free. You are very welcome to meet our students and help teach our English class if you would like, it would be our pleasure! The price we ask for your stay goes to growing and building our school so we can take on more students and provide better opportunities for the children in our village. We would like to give you the real Cambodian experience!

Kim and his family were incredible from A to Z. He take care of all our family. He did everything to be sure we have a good stay. The food was really good, thanks to his wife. The school was a great experience. If you look to see Cambodia in a different way, we recommande Kim's place.

Our stay at Kim's was great ! He welcomed us into his home very warmly. Our room was very comfortable for us and our 2 children (8 and 10). There was no air conditioning, but with the fans it was fine. It is also possible to have meals at home. And it's very good! Our children were able to participate in an English course in his class. It is a beautiful project that deserves to be supported. We shared with him a moment of Cambodian life. It is a precious memory for us. He also offers to drive us through Angkor in his tuktuk. We spent 3 wonderful days with him.

We stayed with Kim Heak and his beautiful family for 7 days. A really authentic stay, with the sounds, smells and tastes of Cambodia. Kim Heak was a great host - he was our tuktuk driver all week and took us everywhere during that time. Even on New Years eve, he waited for us in the New Years mayhem in Siem Reap until we took the kids home to sleep. Also, we were invited to a wedding - an uforgettable experience for id all, both for the kids and for us, the parents. Unfortunately the school wasnt open while we were there so we will have to come back some other time and teach English :-) Thank you for a great true Cambodian week!

This is the homestay for you!! Kim's home is located close enough to everything that you want to see, while being far away enough from the city center to ensure a quiet and comfortable night's sleep. My daughter and I stayed with Kim and his lovely family for 6 nights when we had originally planned on only staying 4 nights. 6 nights was not enough, we were so sad to leave and cannot wait to return <3 Kim organized each day for us, making it simple and easy to just sit back in the tuk tuk and enjoy. He is knowledge about each and every temple and will make sure you see each one at the right time of day. Kim will also suggest many other places to visit such as museums, a traditional dance performance, and the circus!! Kim even took us with him to a neighbors house warming party :) Kim is an excellent tuk tuk driver, we felt safe and comfortable each and every day. Kim always carries plenty of water bottles with him, and even recycles them in and around his homestay. Kim is passionate about all that he does, espically his English school and his community. Kim has a big heart and will always greet you with a huge smile, no matter how long you take exploring your destinations. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and had a private patio where we enjoyed many delicious homemade meals. I don't know if there is any better way to enjoy Siem Reap. We will be recommending Kim's homestay to everyone we know for years to come, and counting down the days until we can return. Thank you for everything Kim, we love you!! The family is amazing, if you want to learn about the culture it's a perfect stay! Teaching the kids in English is so much fun, you can also take a cooking lesson :-) The Village is so nice, everyone is kind. Kim will organize for you really cool trips to the city, waterfalls or the temples. I really enjoyed the stay there and I am thankful for this experience, won't forget it! :-)

It was a pleasure to stay at Kimheak house. Him ant his family are very welcoming, kind and warmfull. Kim drove us everywhere and in the temple. His wife and daughter cooked very good food for us. We could participate to the English class he give to kids for free. It was a great experience I recommend you.

We stayed one week with Kim Heak, he is a kind men, and he made everything to make us comfortable. Thanks to him we didn’t miss a single piece from Angkor temples, he drove us everyday to new places. We could attempt to 2 Cambodians wedding and spend one Weekend with his family: having diner all together Saturday night and going with them to a religious celebration on Sunday. His family is very kind and his wife is a great cooker ! Kim Heak is a men with good heart who decided to help children from Cambodian country side by making his free English school, and if you feel comfortable enough you can give English class to his student. If you stay with at Kim’s you can’t be disappointed, it’s a rich and unique experience. Thanks again !!
