I have been a host to International students in Toronto, Canada for many years and now, I am hosting in Glasgow, Scotland, UK. I teach TESL/TESOL online and at home, providing a one to one lesson that really accelerates and develops the skills students need to further develop their English. I have a one bedroom available and you will be living with my son, he's 15 years old and myself (and Angel my cat). My son, he's truly fabulous and brightens a room just with his smile. He has met many, many students from around the world and this experience has really enriched his life experience already. The house is located in Faifley, close to Bearsden with a direct bus taking you straight to Glasgow, to schools and Glasgow University. Glasgow is rich in Culture and the Arts and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. There are two train stations 10 minute bus ride away, numerous buses take you to Glasgow from just around the corner of the house, the local shopping centre is a 10 bus ride away or jump to the City to shop. Leisure Centre, libraries, shopping mall, swimming pool, movie theatres, cafes, restaurants are all close to the house. Living in this neighbourhood offers pretty much everything but the beach! However, jump on a bus/train and you will find spectacular natural beaches. Overall, a great location, near to the City, close to transit and a pleasant place to call a home away from home.
