Rosario was very helpful with sight seeing suggestions . Also tips on local restaurants . She helped me when I needed a taxi to get to the bus station.

The Good: Location 20 minute walk to Plaza Mayor. Hot shower at all times, clean room with lots of wardrobe space. Nearby supermarkets and cafes. The Bad. Rosario speaks ZERO English which is OK but made no attempt to translate in to English even if she has a smart phone. I speak a little Spanish but she insisted on speaking in rapid Spanish. Bad directions from the bus stand. The UGLY. She is a chain smoker. The apartment reeked of smoke it permeated the apartment. I would recommend this place only if you speak fluent Spanish and can tolerate smoking in the apartment. I felt very uneasy and uncomfortable during my stay. Frankly I could not wait for my stay to be over. Sorry, I am well travelled and I really do not like to leave negative comments but I have to be honest and forewarn others.

Accomodation is standard, everything what is needed is there. Fully equipped kitchen was available, we were offered to use all foodstuffs there ... which was apparently for the use of the owner. Very good approach. Unfortunately we do not speak Spanish so communication was a little bit difficult. Rosario would like to tell us more but we could hardly understand. Allover - thanks!

Rosario nos hizo pasar una noche como en casa. Llegamos muy tarde y nos estuvo esperando para acogernos y tener un ratito de charla que nos apetecía. Por la mañana compartimos un desayuno casero estupendo. La cama cómoda y la casa muy limpia. Volveremos! Gracias Rosario!!!! Un abrazo desde Santander.
