I live in a two story house with my husband. We have three children; one son and two daughters. Our son lives in Thailand, our eldest daughter lives in the US, and our youngest daughter recently graduated university. My husband works in Osaka and I am an English & Cooking teacher. Our house consists of 4 bedrooms, a large formal living room, a casual and comfortable family room connected to a modern-looking kitchen as well as a relaxing tatami room. We have a large garden with a BBQ area and we often like to enjoy our evening tea there. We live in Kita-Ku, the northern part of Kobe, just 15 mins away by car from Sannomiya (downtown area) and 10 mins away from the Shinkobe Station, the shinkansen station. Our neighborhood is surrounded by a lot of greenery, beautiful lakes and ponds and wonderful people. Arima Onsen and Sanda Premium Outlet Mall are about a 20 minute drive away.

The homestay experience was relaxing and homey. Instead of 3 nights I extended the week after. The house is neat and clean. Great for one who likes quiet respite from the bustling city. If you love walking, this is the best. The couple are just so kind to assist me in my tours and drop me at Sannomiya station and pick me up. I love this homestay. If I return, I hope they're still around

It was a great stay! The host fetches us to the nearby buststop for easy transfer to train station. We get to enjoy the serene environment with great accessibility. Great hosting family, would love to visit them again!
