Hay, we are a couple Jackie (30) & David (47) and we have a 13 year old daughter Elizabeth. I am from Scotland and Dave is from Canada. We recently bought an old, high ceiling-ed, large roomed flat in the centre of Edinburgh. When i say the centre i am not lying, outside the door is the "Usher Hall" and at the end of the street is the castle. We lOVE it here it, It always has something going on the centre of Edinburgh is a hive of activity especially over the summer. We are renovating our house slowly room by room but have 1 pretty large room that we thought we could rent out for a bit and see how it goes. We are all really friendly and love to travel however the house is taking up all our time so we thought this would be a great way to meet people from other cultures seen as we can't travel at the moment. The building we live in is fairly quite as the majority is offices so closed at night and weekends. Our flat has 1 bathroom, 4 bedrooms, 1 very large living room and a kitchen (basic kitchen at the moment) The room we have to rent is a large double room with either twin or double bed depending on what is needed. We also have a single room (which doubles up as our office) if someone needed the extra space/bed. Oh we also have a VERY old Chihuahua (20 years old) who occasionally wanders round the house but mostly sleeps all day/night and is no problem to anyone.
