Good experience

Would be great if they can give clearer instructions (XXX) of exactly where to find the staff and the lodge. I took us 2 hours to find out. The house itself is superb. Great conditions. Laundry facilities is excellent... although it took us some time to figure out how to use them.

Spacious apartment in great location spoilt by poor furnishings and tasteless decor.

Our second use of Smaragd apartments but this time the East apartment not the West. Same wonderful location and beautiful patio but the decor was much worse - tasteless 'art' and dark red wall and carpet with cheap garden furniture instead of dining chairs and hopelessly uncomfortable leather armchairs and sofa. Surprising how much difference the finishing made to the experience. Had to ask for second pillows and more than one hand towel and small bath towel each which should have been unnecessary given the pricing. No serving spoons in kitchen other than plastic but otherwise well equipped for cooking. Wifi works very well as does TV although very few English language channels. Love the location but will think hard before returning to Smaragd given all the non-negotiable extras including SwFr29 for supply of bed linen and towels Per Person and final cleaning SwFr57 also Per Person making the overall cost unreasonably high.
