Schönes Ferienhaus mit guter Ausstattung

Wir verbrachten in Ayia Thekla eine Woche Badeferien als Familie. Das Haus ist noch relativ neu und gut ausgestattet mit allem, was es braucht. Betten sind ok, die Matratzenqualität könnte besser sein. Die Gartenanlage mit Pool ist klein, aber gepflegt und schön gestaltet. Ca.100m hinter dem Haus verläuft die Schnellstrasse, ca. 500m vom Haus entfernt die Autobahn. Beides war je nach Windrichtung und Verkehrsaufkommen gut hörbar, je nach Schlaftiefe sind deshalb Earplugs empfehlenswert. Der Strand in Ayia Thekla ist in 10min zu Fuss erreichbar. Leider ist der Strand aber nicht wirklich fürs Baden geeignet, da sehr felsig. Es empfiehlt sich deshalb 10min mit dem Auto Richtung Ayia Napa (z.B. Makronissosbeach) zu fahren. In der näheren Umgebung stehen viele Häuser leer, befinden sich im Bau oder wurden nie ganz fertig gestellt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für Lebensmittel, frisches Gemüse/Obst sind in rund 20min erreichbar. Zusammengefasst: wir haben den Urlaub bei idealen Wasser- und Lufttemperaturen genossen, die Umgebung und der Strand im näheren Umkreis ist leider nicht schön gestaltet, so dass wir uns für die nächsten Ferien gerne eine andere Destination aussuchen werden.
