Other equipment: children's high chair, telephone, hair dryer, iron, washing machine. The house has 2 sep. bath rooms with bath tube without WC, 1 additional shower room without WC and 2 sep. WC rooms. Distances and Excursions: On foot about 10 minutes to the beach Kabelous. 3 minutes by car. The city is about 5-8 minutes drive to downtown for shopping and restaurants. On foot it would be too far, but you do not in South Africa anyway We stayed 5 nights, that was also necessary to inquire all around in the destination and in the evening again in the house to spend the night. TOP see distances / car ride: 30 minutes to St. Francis, in about 80 minutes driving time in the Addo elephant park. 60 min to PE Downtown, 60 min to Baviaankloof Nature Park (ENTRANCE in Patensie), 60 min Tsitsikamma nature park. But Jefferys Bay alone also offers a lot of entertainment, from shopping / outlet to beach life, to the Mecca of surfers and great kids entertainment.

Situation: on the outskirts of Jeffreys Bay, in the district of Wavecrest, quiet, elevated, sunny position on a slope, in a residential area. View from the apartment of the sea, the resort and the countryside.
Surroundings of the house: grounds (private use, 1'500 m2, fenced), lawn (private use, fenced).
Facilities and distances: shop 2 km, grocers 2 km, supermarket 2 km, restaurant 2 km, sandy beach 800 m, sports centre 4 km, golf course 3.5 km, riding stables 6 km, children's playground 1.3 km, m bus stop 12 km. Please note, nearby is a motorway in 8 km, main road in 600 m, railway line in 12 km and ein airport/airfield in 75 km. From the large 3 star holiday home, elevated built, overlooking the bay of Jefferys Bay. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. The residential area very quiet and the house is very well traditional and rustic style, very family friendly. Throughout the house and its generous facilities, bedroom, bathroom, living area (especially in the kitchen) there is nothing missing - everything is plentiful. In addition, the house is very well maintained and technically taken care of by the key holder pair, which live right next door. The perfect, safe and carefree stay is guaranteed. Ein Juwel

Wir haben schon sehr viele Ferienhäuser bewohnt. Aber dieses ist ein echtes Juwel. Ein sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes, sauberes, großzügig gebautes Haus mit sehr viel Platz und einer wunderschönen Aussicht auf die Bucht von Jeffreys Bay. Wir waren nur zu Dritt und hatten jede eines der vier sehr schönen Zimmer mit je einem Zugang zu einem kleinen Balkon, von denen man morgens die Sonnenaufgänge genießen konnte. Am schönsten ist der große Balkon, von dem wir die Wale beobachten konnten, die sich mit ihren jungen Neugeborenen ganz nah am Festland aufhielten. Vom Strand aus sahen wir nicht nur die Wellenreiter sondern auch Delfine, die an den Surfern vorbei schwammen. Als Nichtsurfer mussten wir positiverweise feststellen, dass es garnicht immer windig bzw stürmisch ist. Die 14 Tage verflogen sehr schnell. Mit dem Mietwagen haben wir die nähere Umgebung angeschaut. XXX - eine Rehastation für verletzte oder abgegebene Tiere - ist nicht sehr weit entfernt und interessant anzuschauen. Die N102 führt parallel zur Autobahn durch eine schöne Landschaft unter der hohen Talbrücke hindurch. Ein Ausflug zum Addo Elefanten Park lohnt auch. Wir haben um 9:00Uhr eine geführte Tour im Safari Auto mitgemacht und viele Tiere gesehen - sogar Löwen und kleine Schildkröten. Wer gerne Sonntags in einen deutschen evangelischen Gottesdienst möchte, kann dies in Port Elizabeth in Springfield, Ecke Luke Street und Martin Street in der Friedenskirche der deutschen Gemeinde tun. In westlicher Richtung haben wir einen Abstecher zum Cape St Francis Bay gemacht. Dort gibt es neben dem Leuchtturm und den hohen Wellen auch eine Pinguin Rettungsstation. Zum Einkaufen reicht es, an der Hauptstraße in den nahegelegenen großen XXX Supermarkt zu fahren. Ansonsten gibt es am nördlichen Stadtrand auch eine große Shopping Mall - XXX. Da wir meistens selber gekocht haben, sind wir nicht oft Essengegangen. Ausnahme war das sehr empfehlensweise Lokal direkt am Strand von St Francis Bay - XXX. Laut Besitzer gibt es noch etliche gute Restaurants. XXX, die schräg gegenüber wohnt, hat uns die Schlüssel für das Haus übergeben und war jederzeit ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Ihr Mann bietet auch Rundfahrten an. Es gibt noch sehr viele schöne Ausflugsziele, die man sich anschauen kann. Wir müssen unbedingt nochmals hinfahren.

Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist atemberaubend

Vom grossen 3 Stern Ferienhaus, erhöhter gebaut, überschaut man die Bucht von Jefferys Bay. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist atemberaubend. Das Wohnquartier sehr ruhig und das Haus ist sehr gut traditionelle und rustikal eingerichtet, sehr familienfreundlich. Im gesamten Haus und deren grosszügigen Einrichtungen, Schlafzimmer, Badezimmer, Wohnbereich (speziell auch in der Küche) gibt es nix auszusetzten - alles ist reichlich vorhanden. Zudem wird das Haus sehr gut unterhalten und technisch umsorgt von Schlüsselhalterpaar, welches gleich nebenan wohnt. der völlig perfekte, der sichere und sorgenlose Aufenthalt ist somit garantiert – den genau das konnten wir so erleben. Wir kommen wieder in TheGEM nach Jefferys Bay Distanzen & Exkursionen: Zu Fuss ca. 10 min zum Strand Kabelous. Mit dem Auto ca. 3 Minuten runterfahren. In die Stadt sind es ca. 5 - 8 min Fahrzeit um in Downtown zum Shopping und Restaurants zu gelangen. Zu Fuss wäre es zu weit, macht man allerdings in Südafrika sowieso nicht Wir sind 5 Nächte geblieben, das war auch nötig, um alles so rundherum in der Destination zu erkundigen und jeweils abends wieder im Haus zu übernachten. TOP Exkursionen -Ausflüge Entfernungen /Autofahrt: 30 min nach St. Francis, in ca. 80 min Fahrzeit in den Addo Elefanten Park. 60 min nach PE Downtown , 60 min nach Baviaankloof Nature Park (ENTRANCE in Patensie), 60 min Tsitsikamma nature park. Aber auch Jefferys Bay alleine bietet wirklich sehr viel Unterhaltung, von Shopping/outlet bis Beach Life, zum Mekka der Surfer, und tolle Kinderunterhaltung
