The River At My Back
This pet-friendly Fisherman's cottage sits along the sea wall of Victoria Quay, offering stunning views over the estuary and beaches of East Portlemouth. We think this home is best suited to families and couples looking for a quiet and cosy stay. The bunk beds are great for kids (but are sturdy enough for small adults), and the main bed can be configured as a super king or twin singles. You'll be close to Salcombe's high street, though you'll want a car for day trips to the nearest beaches.
*You'll receive a complimentary long-stay car parking permit.
*Your host can provide a travel cot and high chair for free here. The bunk beds are suitable for children, teens or small adults.
*The downstairs bathroom is accessed via a communal walkway at the back of the home.
*Changeover day is on Friday for the peak period, but is flexible at other times.
*South Devon is known for patchy phone coverage, so you might find that the phone signal weakens from time to time.
*One hand towel and one bath towel are provided per person, so you may want to bring your own for longer stays.
*The garden is overlooked by other houses in the area. You might see a neighbour or two through the window, so it doesn't feel completely private.
