The Olive Garden
This charming farmhouse overlooking views of the Seano Cortona Valley comes complete with its own olive terrace and a hidden private pool. While the best spot in the house to take in the views is on the first-floor balcony, you'll find plenty of shaded spots to cool off after exploring the surrounding nature – there's direct access to the local walking trails through the forest. Inside, we love the locally handmade furniture pieces bringing a cosy aesthetic to this hideaway. The house is in San Leo Bastia with a small shop, bar, and restaurant, and you'll find the city of Umbertide with even more choices around 20 kilometres away.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to maximise your stay. There is private parking available on the premises.
*The swimming pool isn't fenced. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times. Please note the swimming pool is closed from October to April.
*The home is spread across two floors with access via steep open steps, so it may not be suited to those with limited mobility.
