One glance at this villa's sweeping sea views and you can't help but feel completely at ease. The Ionian's crashing waves and Kefalonia's craggy coastline paint the perfect backdrop to your stay, whether you're relaxing on the main suite's balcony, sipping wine on the terrace or splashing in the infinity pool. Inside is a bit more traditional – picture stone walls, timber beams and slightly dated bathrooms – but it's roomy enough for the whole group. Location-wise, the nearest village is Vassilikiades – it's about 4 kilometres away and has a mini-market and local tavernas. Or, venture further afield to Assos (a ten-minute drive away), home to a hilltop fortress and small cove beach.
*This home is set across two floors, without an internal lift. However, there's a ground-floor bedroom and bathroom for those with limited mobility.
*The traditional decor here might not be to everyone's taste. It feels a little dated in parts.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There’s free private parking here.
*The swimming pool may only be open from April to October – please check with your host for the exact dates. It also isn't fenced and has an infinity edge, so children will need to be supervised at all times.
