At First Blush

Cosy yet small, At First Blush is a typical Copenhagen home. We love its feminine vibes and elegant touches – the abundance of posters, artworks and trinkets are particular favourites. Vesterbro is a hipster mecca and great for the younger, artsy crowd. There are plenty of coffee shops, independent eateries and design boutiques nearby, especially since Kødbyen is just down the road. It is worth noting that parts of Istedgade are still a little rough around the edges, which becomes more and more visible the closer you get to Copenhagen Central Station.

*It’s on the third floor with no elevator – not everyone will appreciate the free work-out
*In true Copenhagen fashion, the bathroom is very small

*Vesterbro is a former working-class district turned hipster paradise – but this part of the neighbourhood that’s closer to Copenhagen Central station is still a little rough around the edges
