With hectares of land spilling out into woods, olive groves, and lakes at your feet, the panoramic terraces and private swimming pool all have a picture-perfect backdrop. As for the versatility, that lies in the way the bedrooms have been split between three apartments and a cottage, each with a living area and kitchen, so everyone gets space and privacy. The on-site restaurant takes reservations, but they also deliver, and you can speak to your host about wine tastings when you're not golfing at the course minutes away or exploring Lake Trasimeno.

If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times. \n *We suggest hiring a car for ease – there's parking available. A 3 km white gravel road leads up to the villa. The roads are also occasionally steep and won't be suitable for sports cars.\n *The home is made up of three apartments and a cottage. This'll be ideal for families who want an extra bit of privacy.\n *If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free.
