The Woodlark
Nestled in Sutton-on-the-Forest, just 8 miles north of York, this charming 18th-century cottage welcomes you in with open arms. Perfect for families, the generous country kitchen will quickly become the place where everyone gathers, spilling out into the walled garden for alfresco dining in summer months. The owners live next door and share the gravelled parking area, but you won't hear a peep from them unless you need their help. For those keen to explore the great outdoors, especially if your four-legged friends have joined you for your stay, cross the road and you can walk the ancient woodland of the Sutton Park estate. Further afield, the North York Moors are just a short drive away.
*Well-behaved dogs are welcome to accompany you during your stay. Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on unprotected furniture.
*The gravelled courtyard is shared with the neighbouring homes. The owners live at the end of the courtyard and are available to assist you should you need help with anything. The walled garden is private.
*There's courtyard parking for two cars available here.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
*There are stairs to climb in this home and some doorways are low.
