There's a dash of retro here, with a 1950s inspired long table, and bright and bold colours in the bedrooms. Enjoy a soak in the freestanding tub, feel your toes get toasty in front of the fire, and, as always, be sure to explore your beautiful surroundings. In our opinion, this home is a beautiful landmark of the Devon coastline, away from the busy tourist-heavy beaches – it's the idyllic summer getaway.

*There's lots of steps to access the home, and indoors, so this home isn't suitable for those with limited mobility
*When we tested this home, the central heating controls were a little complicated
