This garden loft is on the smaller side, but it's recently been updated to be a fully functional home for those simply looking to roll out of bed and into the surf – it's located just three blocks from Windansea Beach. The mosaic shower room is perfect for washing the salt off and reminds us of a mermaid's lair. Elsewhere, houseplants and floral prints add to the tropical feel and if you want to enjoy a moment's meditation, head up to the sofas in the loft to enjoy a cup of herbal tea. Head into Downtown San Diego, approximately twelve miles away, for fascinating history, trendy trattorias, and high culture. Alternatively, make your way north to the coastal towns of Del Mar, Encinitas and Carlsbad, up to half an hour's drive from your home.
