If you feel like visiting a historical town, then head over to Barnstaple, under a fifteen-minute drive away, for a nice afternoon in the city centre. When – weary from wandering and ensuring you've picked up some local goods on your travels – knock up a hearty meal and get cosy on the sofa with a good book. The interior has a real classic summertime look, with its exposed wood, light blue tones and French doors.
