As appealing as the sunshine is, there’s plenty to tempt you inside too – the magnificent painted ceiling in the living room alone might be enough, but you’ll find plump sofas, a polished wood dining table and oversized ceramic vases to delight you. The pale wood and rattan-panelled wardrobes in the bedrooms bring an atmosphere of calm, and the terrazzo-tiled en-suite, with a bold blue wall and gilt-edged mirror, should make you smile as you unwind after your hectic day of, well, relaxing. And if the view alone isn’t enough to quench your (sea) thirst, you’ve only got a short walk until you’re on the beach.

*Bathroom 2 is a WC shared by bedrooms 2 and 3 – neither of the ensuites for these bedrooms have their own WC
*The three bedrooms in the main house have air conditioning
